That's different, this entire forum isn't just for Mass Effect, y'know there are other games made by BioWare, y'know better ones like Dragon Age & KOTOR.

While true, you specifically entered the Mass Effect 3 Story and Campaign Discussion forum, fella.

But please, don't let me stand in the way of making yourself look ... well, the way you do now, especially with your scintillating "drones" and "butthurt" comments. You're doing all the heavy lifting for me!

Sad to see don't get  what I was getting at, so I'm not going to even try to explain it to you :)

Yes, please don't tire my wee little brain with your incredible intellect, good sir.  I might faint at its glory.

So to you, responding sarcastically to butthurt drones makes me butthurt? I don't get it :S

Well, you did say "so many butt hurt people on here", and..well, you are here too. So I assumed that included you. Just saying.

Anyway, back OT, recruited Grunt and now I'm pulling garrus' butt out of the fire. So you know...he's not butt hurt either. Then I'll help mordin later on.

Yeah you're right, I'm probably nowhere near as cool as you are...

That was sarcasm, because you're probably too stupid to realise that.

Ah, you say one thing, and the hordes of Bio-Drones attack :lol:

Well, in all fairness, that part gave off the impression that you too were butt hurt.

But before another worthwhile topic gets locked for typical BSN behavior, I'll leave it at that.

Debating on just taking Garrus with me or both him and Grunt to recruit Mordin. I haven't heard all the dialogue with either of them while going through the quarantine zone.

Continued my 'DefaultMaleNewShep' playthrough in ME2.
(I'm doing this for each game, seeing what bits are 'locked out' when you don't import, so ME2-->ME3 and ME3 alone, then full default Male and Female Shep ME1-->ME2-->ME3 'maximal' playthroughs. Will try NG+ for each game before transferring.)

~~~
-Finished Overlord. Interesting... themes in there. And I'm not just talking about 'Synthesis is bad!' in itself
-Finished Firewalker. I hate that one where you fight the most geth. Hammerhead is so much fun to move around in.. but so weak.... so ...weak...
-Several N7 missions, almost done this stuff, cool but pretty boring for most of them
-Did most of Lair of the Shadow Broker but I think my game crashed. I think it happens because
Remaining:
-try to Paragon Jack into liking me again. I hate ME2's morality system. Paragade and Renegon or Equal is just not possible to enjoy for me. At the same time, I THINK I understand why they chose it, from a narrative standpoint...
-finish LOTSB, hope to get dat Paragon from being friendly :D
-hope I also have enough Paragon at this point to Paragon Zaeed for my final Loyalty Mission. If I don't, I guess I'll have to reload and try Renegade.. sigh
-finish up the few sidemissions I have left
-Derelict Reaper
-Suicide Mission :D Everyone must survive, and be loyal. If I miss loyalties, I'll have to do a NG+ no matter what..
-Arrival may happen before or after SM. Depends how Loyalties go.
Haven't posted in these forums in a long time. Irrelevant, but ah well.
Recently got some new DLC (Namely BDtS and Citadel) so I went on a full playthrough, making sure to try those two out. After getting furious at Mass Effect (I'd get to the end of Noveria, and then my console would crash. I'd forget to save each time, so I was sent all the way back to before I went to Peak 15. I think it was 15. Happened too many times.) I just loaded some other Mass Effect save onto Mass Effect 2.
Due to the Citadel DLC, I wanted to romance my old love, Garrus. Which I did. I then freaked out when Kaidan (Never was sure if it was Kaidan or Kaiden. Kaidan looks better, to me.) got all romantic on my Shepard on Horizon. (At least, as romantic as either of them can get there.) so I was dead set on breaking the little biotic's heart.
Ah, Vakarian~
And now here I am on 3. Tried the DLC, I personally enjoyed it. I won't go into details, seeing as I don't want to cross any boundaries in terms of spoilers (Assuming I haven't already done that. Apologies if I have.) and now, my save is sitting there, waiting to be completed. I feel like I should've explained things with more detail, but I don't want to waste people's time. I doubt they'd want to hear me Babylon. (See what I did there?)
Started a new femshep, then realized I hadn't unlocked Insanity. So, decided to play through Hardcore to unlock that. Unfortunately, Krogan Battlemasters don't like newbs. Especially newb scrubs without Immunity.
Fortunately, I had an old save with a high level soldier and started over with her. So, I saved Eden Prime, recruited a Krogan bounty hunter, Turian C-Sec officer, Quarian engineer and rescued an Asari archaeologist. She's cute. May have to ask her out.
Abandoned my new ME FemShep for a little while. Trying to finish a default ME3 Maleshep with all decisions turned off. I only overrode once because I wanted Ashley on the Normandy. Finished up the Asari Monastery and back to the Citadel. Once done there, will rescue the Cerberus Engineers.
Finshed the sucide run in ME2
I lost { in order{ Tali , [ no shields} Kasumi [took a rocket to the face.} and Miranda { got crushed after I killed the Human Reaper baby}
those that are loyal are Jack, Thane, Kasumi, Tali and Mordin. Adam Shepard is now ready for ME3.
Restarted Mila Shep form ME2.
Finished my Adept Femshep save in ME1, it only took me 2 years :P. I'm going to import her to ME2 tonight but I'm changing her class to Sentinel for the next two games, I've had enough of Adept.
Bought all the ME2 DLC except for the alternate squad outfits, since those just look like a massive waste of money. I'm looking forward to playing through ME2 with all the DLC for the first time. I only have From Ashes and the EC for ME3, but I plan on buying the rest after I get paid this month, that gives me enough time to take both my Femshep and Maleshep through ME2.
You haven't figured out how to use the Hammerhead? Just position yourself so the enemy doesn't have LOS to you; you don't need LOS since your weapons seek. Properly played, the Hammerhead's invincible. Though this is a little unfun since the enemies have no chance.
A little confused here -- you can't enjoy the dialogue system unless you can pass all the dialogue checks?
Though I don't like ME2's approach either, since if I want a character with good dialogue skill I have to play by the alignment meter. ME3 is conceptually a little worse, since Reputation means that all my characters pass all their dialogue checks. But ME3 has the great advantage of making the alignment meter irrelevant, rather than reminding me that it exists all the time.
As for what I'm up to, just visited the Citadel to say "hi" to Anderson and see what's up, and went after Okeer on Korlus since it's on the way to Omega and Mordin.
I'm playing Adrian Shepard (yes, its a Half-Life reference), Earthborn Ruthless Adept. My plan is to be pretty Renegade-y this time out, which suits a Shep of this background. Not sure about romance yet -- maybe Jack? Wrex is already dead, so I'm figuring to not pick up Maelon's data this time out and so have Mordin live. I'm following one of the devs' suggestions and getting to the Reaper IFF mission as soon as it's available, which means I won't be able to do all LMs before the SM. I'll skip Mordin's mission altogether, since destroying the data once you have it is idiotic. (If non-loyal Mordin dies on the SM I'll roll a d20 and use a savegame editor to kill someone else in his place). Kirrahe's dead too -- I thought Virmire makes a little more sense if he's dead --- so I'm considering bringing a non-loyal Thane on the SM so I can play out that version of the Cerberus Coup. (Not sure what this measn for the VS - I may metagame that, or not)
Other than that, I'll take it as it comes. Haven't played an Adept past ME1 yet. I'm considering lowering the difficulty, since so far Insanity isn't as much fun as I'd like.
I played Sur'Kesh on two consequtive playthroughs today. Problem is, I kinda dislike Jennifer Hale but my femshep is on PC while my Manshep is on PS3, and I just realized (not having played after leaving it half a year) that the femshep is new-game, so now I feel like solely switching over to the man-shep but... PS3, ugh. Terrible framerate, lockup glitches 720p <<<<< 1080p 60fps, better everything :-(
 Uh yeah that is kind of the point of the thread
Yes, and my comment was expressing surprise at this thread even existing...
Ah, you say one thing, and the hordes of Bio-Drones attack :lol:
Weren't you a Bio-Drone before? What makes you so damn special that you do not consider yourself one? Oh wait, you are probably like "You why I'm not a Bio-Drone? Cuz the ending sucked asscheeks. Now I hate BioWare. Oh yeah, that's what cool people like me do. Long live ME2! Best piece of writing evur!"
Bio-Drone is the kind of drone that defends EVERYTHING BioWare did with Mass Effect. I don't, hell, I even despise ME2 for a bunch of reasons while ME3 takes my despise from its ending and intro (and TIM's herpty derptyness). But that doesn't mean I have to go full retard like you and point fingers and laugh at those who like to play Mass Effect non-stop.
(Back on topic)
Today I started up ME1.
I know how to use it, I just suck at it. I've done Firewalker many times, but this was the first time on PC so I'm rusty! I already do what you said. Thanks though!
Sorry, I mean if I want to do certain things. If I was doing a MainShep I wouldn't be concerned, as I outright metagame with him ;)
If I was doing a full-on RP-Shep I would not be concerned with checks for the most part.
But this was a DefaultNewGameShep for ME2. It was a mix of RP (no ME1 save file, wanted to see what that meant), and metagaming (I still want the best possible result for what's there, for experiementation purposes). Intention is to see what I end up with by the end of ME3. I also have a DefaultNewGameShep for ME3 alone.
I went too Renegade with some stuff, and that now means Jack won't be Loyal again. Booooo.
Bad Hammerhead assumption on my part -- so many people who have trouble with the Hammerhead aren't using the thing properly. It does have a smaller window for error.
I get what you'e up to with the playthrough now. What happens with those options is documented, but the experience of playing it can't be.
Started ME3 after starting a full trilogy playthrough not too long ago. Tried getting more renegade points while staying paragon just for cool scars but not enough, no cool scars :( still interested in what I'll end up choosing at the end in this play through being that my full paragon playthroughs I went with control.. but control doesn't work as well unless you're full paragon and green synthesis eyes scare me and I care too much for Geth now that I finally understood everything Legion was saying in ME2 and I've always liked EDI and Joker so it'll be hard choosing destroy.
Also told Liara I want to continue relationship even though I REALLY like Jack. Only reason I haven't gone with Jack before is because of how hardcore she is and how not hardcore me or my Shep are. Even though Jack is exciting and shows more emotion (which I love) my Shep and Liara just click on all levels and I can actually imagine them getting married and having kids *sigh* I don't know.
Also when I die in the end I imagine Liara taking it a lot easier.. if I die.
Played the entire Arrival. What an interesting experience..
Had to turn down difficulty for Fight for Your Life PC Achievement. I guess I suck. Then again, I was Lv 25? Arrival SEEMS geared for LV 29-30ish, right?
Slogging along with my ME3 No Decisions play through. I've had to go back to a previous save a couple of times because the auto dialog went in ways that I didn't like. I had loyal Legion and Tali, but the game wasn't making peace possible. First, it tried to kill off Koris, then it wouldn't let Legion upload the code. The only thing keeping me going on this play through is curiosity.
