Played the entire Arrival. What an interesting experience..
Had to turn down difficulty for Fight for Your Life PC Achievement. I guess I suck. Then again, I was Lv 25? Arrival SEEMS geared for LV 29-30ish, right?

I save arrival for the very last thing I do before importing into ME 3.  You can do it as soon as you finish up Horizon but to me it seems Arrival was really meant to  be done after the suicide mission.

Assaulted Grissom Academy to rescue the biotic students. Managed to get them all out. Advised that they act as support troops. No point in getting the best and brightest of the future killed for heroics.

Went to Sur'kesh with Liara and Javik and freed Eve. I always enjoy that mission because I think the fights are fun, and I get to run into Capt Kirrahe.

Then I headed off to investigate Rachni activity with Aralakh company. The company ended up getting sacrificed, but the Rachni Queen agreed to join us. Let's hope she proves a helpful ally. I did this for the first time with the Reckoner Knight armor. Yuk! Not doing that again.

Finished up my ME3 MaleShep. Played a whole game with "No Decisions" turned on. There were only three things I had to go back to a previous save and turn decisions back on for a few minutes because I didn't like the default at all. Took Ashley onto the Normandy, saved Zal'Korus, and made peace between the Geth and Quarians. I played out all three main endings and the only one that didn't have Wreav preparing for war was Synthesis. So even though I usually do Destroy, I chose Synthesis for this game. My character was slightly more Paragon than Renegade and I do wonder if a "No Decisions" game would be different as a Renegade. Not enough to play one, though.

Took Cerberus out of the war today. Hit Kai Leng with a handful of cluster grenades at point blank range and killed him outright. Should mention that EDI, Liara and I had whittled his shields down to one bar first. But it was my best Kai Leng death yet. I even stared at him for a few seconds, expecting him to stand up, but he was toast.

After taking a break from the game months ago, I finally bought the Citadel, Omega & Genesis 2 (I just can't play through 1/2 anymore to import) dlc's.

Omega wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be. That being said, not having Omega as a hub world was disappointing.....severely disappointing.

Haven't got a change to play Citadel yet.

I got the "one and only" and "virtual hero" achievements legitimately on the same day as unlocking mirror match, which I'm pretty happy about. There were around six or so pretty frustrating matches before I got it though.

(Just recently got around to Citadel dlc)

Citadel is incredibly out of place in the overall story, but also hilarious.

I'm on my yearly trilogy playthrough. Tonight I recruited Archangel. Love that mission, but the charging krogan reminded me how much tougher ME2's gameplay can be compared to the other two games. I am pretty rusty in my ME2 skills as Garm smashed me a few times before I made it through. ME2 combat feels like much more of a mental exercise than does ME3. And I like that.

Batman's recruiment misson is the best in the game, taking on all the gangs one by one was really fun, Okeer's and Thane's recruitment missions come in at 2nd and 3rd respectively, though I hear many people hate those missions.

Finally got around to play ME3 again to finish my last Shep. I invited Liara up to my cabin, disabled an ancient Turian bomb on Tuchanka, saved some people on Benning (brought Garrus and Vega and gave them the Adas. Awesome!), and raided a Cerberus lab. Decided to give everyone who could handle an AR the Adas (especially Shep) because of all the fireworks. I was clearing out rooms on Sanctum in seconds. So many lols!

After I raided the lab on Sanctum I got bored and jumped back onto DA:O.

So over the weekend, as planned, I finished up my "refinement" playthrough of ME2/3 with my canon shep.  Felt good to put that Shep out to pasture.  I didn't have much left to do - only had some of the buddy missions & the party on the Citadel, then assault Cerberus and Priority: Earth - but I still planned on breaking it up over Friday & Saturday nights.  Once again I found that once I start the assualt on Cerberus, there just isn't a good stopping point anywhere in the final act - I just have to push through and finish the story.  This has happened with every play-through I have done, so it shouldn't have suprised me when I was dragging all day Saturday after only getting a couple hours of sleep.

I had been telling myself for awhile now that this run (my 3rd consecutive) was going to be my last foray into the MEU for a little while, lest I burn myself out on Shep & the crew.  I even had the latest Bioshock Infinite DLC loaded up and waiting.  But after putting the wife and kids to bed and firing up the Xbox on Saturday night, Bioshock just wasn't doing it for me.  Tried GTA:V, Farcry 3, FIFA - even a few minutes of Forza - but nothing worked.

So back to ME1 I went.  My new shep (Jacob) is a spacer - war hero - soldier;  a by-the-book, "military is my life" man all the way.  I think he will end up being a bit of a paragade - haven't decided if he will pursue any relationships yet.

I usually get burned out on games after the intial playthrough - I might try to replay a game I really enjoyed but I usually flame out early in the game, and it takes me forever to actually finish it.  I remain amazed and how the ME trilogy continues to hold my interest like no other game (or book/movie/tv series) I have ever experienced.

I agree about the assault on the Cerberus Base, once you start it, you might as well just stay and finish the game, because it's pretty much the point of no return like going to Ilos and going through the Omega 4 Relay, it makes no sense to just stop.

The first time I started  the mission it was 2am, by the time the credits rolled it was after 6 and the sun was almost up. Like you I had to drag myself through the next day, unluckily for me that next day happened to be a Monday :pinched:.

I released a mysterious Krogan female with my blue partner and the embodiment of vengeance was also helping me out. Really enjoyed seeing Wrex again and happy to conclude that his temper didn't change at all.

The conniving Dalatrass tried to get Shep to sabotage the cure, but Shep didn't go for it. Helped Mordin cure the Genophage. With Wrex and Bakara leading the Krogan, I think the Krogan have bright future.

She knew the stakes, and was prepared to make the sacrifice.  She told me that herself.

Did Zaeed's LM. Saved the workers because that was the mission -- if Zaeed wants to kill Vido he can do it on his own damn time. Picked up the Hammerhead next since it was in the same cluster. Then went on to recruit Jack. Does anyone ever not give her access to the Cerberus files she's after?

I guess this means that Horizon's next.

While fixing some sabotaged medi-gel dispensers, look who showed up - Conrad Verner! Turns out he was able to lend expertise to build the Crucible. Ran into Jenna who saved Shep from Cerberus, and Conrad and her seemed to hit it off.

Afterwards, I finally got a Virmire survivor to the Tuchanka bomb mission. When the mission was complete, Ashley said the mission reminder her of Virmire, and then on the Normandy I found her at the memorial wall visiting Kaiden.

Finally finished up my Insanity playthrough for the Me1 trophy. Krogan. Lots of Krogan inmyface. Now, just playing clean up on an engineer femshep for the power usage trophies. Got one more adept run to get those.

Then, I can finally do what I intended from the start; make a new 100 percent run from 1 to 3 with all dlc. (except Pinnacle Station. Damn it Bioware, y ur source code corrupted?)

Saved Ash on Virmire. Took down the rouge VI on the moon. Now getting ready to stop some Batarians from slamming an asteroid into one of humanity's largest colonies.
