And in ME1 he ran away from all the thresher maws, even the one that killed the Kahoku party.
On the other hand he managed to keep Tali alive despite being non-loyal.
@AlanC9
Isn't infinite mission time with no consequences the whole point of ME2?

My Sole Survivor never let Grunt out of the tank. He doesn't trust Krogans since Wrex was gonna shoot him and Ash (his LI) had to save him. Consequentially he didn't cure the genophage, either.

Yeah, I see Sole Survivor personally as someone who wants to outcrazy the crazy Krogans. Not a deathwish per se, but an Adrenaline junky. I don't think he ran too much at Akuze, just avoided in spectacular ways. Barla Von in ME1 says it's a story he's amazed at each time it's told. It has to be more than just running and hiding.

Well, you could still draw it out. As long as you don't like the Normandy crew much.
True enough. I guess I like most of them quite a bit actually.

The thing about characters dying without LM's completion is you don't get the opportunity to develop Shepard's character specifics.

Okay, but that aside you said he was evenly split paragon and renegade, so what's his personality like?
He gets the Renegade points because he believes that power exists to be used, and he knows how to use it better than all of those idiots and hypocrites in positions of "authority." So when it comes to those murdering Eclipse mercs, Sidonis, and so forth, executing them out of hand is simply the obvious thing to do. Quite a bit of arrogance too -- hence launching the SM half-prepared because he figures he's going to win it even without being completely ready. Maybe a little bit of biotic superiority. In terms of ME's morality system, he's fundamentally a Renegade.
And yet, he ends up racking up tons of Paragon points because his essential mission is the preservation of those who can't defend themselves; that's the soldier's job. He also that positive encouragement works better than pure badassery, so a lot of the miscellaneous dialog options get Paragon picks too.
He doesn't know what to think about the genophage, but for now he trusts Mordin since he's actually studied the issues. (I'm not sure whether to go to Tuchanka now -- if I do, destroying the cure data is just idiotic, but if I don't Mordin dies in ME3, so I might metagame it if I play the mission.

I'd also add Incompetent, but I guess going for the Reaper IFF despite Miranda's warnings makes a certain amount of sense. And going after the crew instead of prepping? Yeah, sounds like the kind who would sacrifice anybody to do "the right thing".
My Femshep was like that in ME1 but it was starting to wear off on Virmire when Kaidan and Garrus confronted her about euthanising the indoctrinated salarians. It was a very surprising but welcome moment.

But alas, now I know. I beat ME:G, saw the dialogue on my Xbox 360 copy of ME2, and now saw it on PS3.

Citadel DLC's final battle was remarkably simpler than I remember for this Sentinel toon. I brought Javik and Wrex to the fight and pretty much owned the whole thing by staying in cover and spamming Overload, Warp, and Grenades.
Then finished up Leviathan - Ann survived. Managed to not die on the rescue mission to Harvesters, not sure what I did right that time.
On to Omega, and enjoyed it as usual. I was a bit wary of the two trapped fights were you basically have to outlast the waves of enemies at the Power Generator, the Bomb, and the end the finale, but turns out they weren't too bad. Sentinel appears to be able to take way more damage then my other characters, plus once I got to 60 I started spamming medi-gel whenever there was trouble. Fights are a lot easier like that.
And now to Rannoch!
Had the conversation with Javik on the Zan'til, WOW! Synthetic symbiots that could manipulate the Zan at the genetic level, that bred the Zan into slaves.
[Edit]
Trilogy finished! Picked Control. All in all, a good run.
R.I.P. Wing-Chen.

Sentinels are OP.
Yeah I was worried when I started my current three playthroughs that I would have to conserve on medigel to make sure I made lvl 60 (old ME1 memories). But then I beat Omega before even doing the Cerberus coup and realised there's no way I'm not getting to lvl 60 on time.
Soldier can be a lot more gutsy when you've got medigel.
@Sporkfu how'd you get a level 10 Javelin?

Also, Tela Vasir should not have died, she is the most interesting character in the game behind Legion and a fellow Spectre, who like Shepard, works with unpleasant people for the good of the galaxy, but nope, we are forced to get on our high horses and act as if working for a terrorist group who have done awful things is oh so much better than what Vasir is doing. F*** that man, f*** that.
I did like the stuff after the DLC, especially the videos and dossiers, Legion a gamer lol. TIM a womanizer, my man. Anyway, I still have the Arrival DLC to do and then I'm done with ME2, I have 48 hours clocked in so far, this replay has taken me much longer than I expected it too.

-Both secondary missions done
-Renegade interrupted Reaper Destroyer for the first time ever
-First started to allow code upload...
-But then realized GethVI wouldn't listen to emotional appeals, and shut him down. Sorry, but I can't help the geth on this playthrough
-Tali and Quarians made it, GethVI and Geth did not (also I betrayed Wreav and Paragon talked Mordin out of Cure)
~~~
What's next?:
-Leviathan DLC sequence (Ann will make it)
-Thessia (bringing Javik because I consider it most base canon)
-Sanctuary (bringing Liara because LI)
-Any remaining N7 or side missions
-Citadel DLC sequence (trying to help Clone, but alas)
-Citadel DLC visits, arena, messing around, party
-Cronos Station (bringing Liara because LI)
-London
-STARCHILD (Destroy, likely Breath, but if not, High Destroy)
On the other hand, doing Leviathan first prohibits asking Tali about Leviathan. Win some, lose some.
Did you save Koris? Cause on my Neutral playthrough last friday I did pretty much what you did, and Koris died.
You gonna do the whole rest of the game in one go, bro? I had to take a two day break after Citadel. It's just too awesome.
Then I did some of the Armax Arena missions and got the Fatal Error level, lol. I didn't realize how much content there was. Lots of fun to be had doing missions with Grunt and Zaeed again.
@Daemul This playthrough was the first time I read Thane's LotSB dossier and found his preferred ways of executing members of different races. That was... disturbing.
@Rasofe Tali is the one who recognizes some of the ships that have crashed on Levi's water planet, right? Does she have any other revelations?
@Swobjy I hate not making peace on Rannoch. Done it twice and saved/sacrificed both sides and it always feels like a loss. I liked seeing the Geth Prime that showed up on Priority: Earth as the Geth representation though. I still haven't betrayed the Krogans, but I got pretty close, and Mordin gave me that awesome, "I MADE A MISTAKE!!!" line.
Well, what I did today... what I had promised to do really.
Miranda's dead in Femshep playthrough. You'd think it would have gotten easier since she'd already died at the Collector Base in Failshepard's playthrough, but gunshot wound to the stomach is just about the least glamorous death I can think of - she wouldn't have wanted to die this way.
Damn. and I've still got the worst Shepard, the neutral Adept, to play.
BTW, I like this thread. It'a like a confession booth.
It's not so much about revelations as just getting to hear what she has to say after the Leviathan missions back on the Normandy.
@Linkenkski
It's not like they want to force the relationship on you. Unless you have another LI. Then it's "be an ass to Liara or face the consequences" time.
Shepard should just react like any other person would in this situation: complete and utter ignorance.
My main team. A shame neither Miranda nor Mordin could be there.
https://lh6.googleus...19-49-41-54.bmp
I really don't like the Asari, but I love this temple.
https://lh6.googleus...14-27-34-75.bmp
This is a very beautiful picture.
Say what you will about ME3's ending, but the scenery is fantastic.
https://lh5.googleus...17-04-52-86.bmp
... and the end.
And just a "non canon" from another place, just as a reminder of Priority Tuchanka, one of the greatest videogame missions ever created.
https://lh6.googleus...21-23-30-33.bmp
Has pulling the trigger ever been so hard?
