What did you do today in the Mass Effect trilogy?

As mentioned, Mordin was alive and Eve was not. That made the decision to sabotage the cure surprisingly easy. Very nice scene with Mordin, too.
On to the coup. With Thane and Kirrahe dead, Esheel gets killed by Kai Leng. I think the scene plays out better this way than with Kirrahe or Thane. Then on to the final confrontation with Udina. I was able to make the dialogue check to get Ash to stand down. I let her finish off Udina, mostly to let her feel useful. I see it takes a persuade check to get her back on the boat -- I'm not sure I want her on if she doesn't really want to be, though.
I'm starting to think that I like ME3's persuasion system even less than ME2's. I haven't failed a check yet, and since I do most of the sidequests I'm pretty sure I never will.

I think I romanced Ash in ME1 and Tali in ME2 on this character. He's going to be just as nice as he can be to Ash... until he meets Tali.

Got to missing my Male Shep character and imported him back to the beginning of 3. Tali, Jack, Miranda, Samara... all of these should have been romance options for Femshep too. I know, I know, dead horse, flip flopping sexuality, water under the bridge, etc, etc. Still, more options is never a bad thing.

I am only just getting ready to recruit Tali in ME2, and I have seen the great ME3 catfight between Tali and Ash referenced on the boards multiple times. So someone help me out.......
I romanced Ash in ME1 - as I understand it if I romance Tali in ME2, then don't lock in a LI in ME3 and take both Ash and Tali on the Geth Dreadnaught mission, I will get a mission full of snarky companion bickering? Did I get that right?

I scanned every stupid planet in ME2 and I don't now why. I think BioWare designed that sound the mineral counter makes to create some kind of addictive effect, much like the sound of the machines in concert with each other at a casino.
You say addictive, I say Zen.

I plan to start the Overlord DLC in about 15mins and then go and get the IFF and Legion before finally doing Legions loyalty mission. I plan on doing the Suicide Mission and the last 2 N7 sidequests tomorrow afternoon sometime. I might start Shadowbroker tomorrow night actually, then do Arrival on Monday, but I'll see how it goes.

Now it's on to Rannoch. With Tali and Legion both dead, this should be interesting -- though I've got a pretty good idea how it's going to come out.

I packed up my 360/PS3 in lieu of the XB1/PS4 on the basis that I could still play ME on the PC, but then my laptop's picked up a random freeze/restart issue.
The lack of backwards compatibility on the new-gen consoles is very disappointing. Given the dearth of games I may end up packing one up for a while and dig out the previous one to play ME again.....

The Firewalker Missions are quite possibly the worst thing in the whole trilogy.ShepnTali wrote...
I did the Firewalker missions in ME2. I forgot I hated them. I don't think I'll ever do them again, and just skip to Overlord.
Today my first Femshep (after 15 playthroughs using Meershep/Custom Manshep) just took out the Praetorian on Horizon, and got told off by Kaidan... It is also the first time I have let him make it past Virmire, and I think I prefer him as a human to Ashley.
The only reason I ever chose Ashley was due to her being my LI when it wasn't Liara.. now I'm starting to think my Femshep should be with Garrus.
It just feels.. right.

And as a bonus I'll get to experience Omega and Citadel DLC for the first time in this campaign. So I'm pretty excited to finally experience everything.

Edit: just beat it. Managed to keep one of them stunlocked long enough with the first Spitfire to blow it up. After that it wasn't too bad.

Anyway, I'm on Omega, just arrived at the Talon outpost. I used the gibbed editor to swap my paragon and renegade points before I started the mission, so that I could play through it the way Aria likes. I'll swap them back after Omega's finished and go back to being a good guy. It's not like anybody but Aria reacts to the Omega mission afterwards, and it's a fun break from a paragon run.

After this I'm starting up ME1 as a Renegade MaleShep. Either going to be a "stupid" Soldier, or a kind of crazy Adept.

Which made the rachni choice easier. Having just been party to one genocide, Shepard refused to go for two. (Non-loyal Grunt didn't make it.... lot of names on that wall now)
