I started and finished the Rannoch arc today, watched the Quarians get blown up and Tali commit suicide before heading off to the Citadel to hand in quests and buy the Black Widow sniper rifle for Ashley as a present for her and my Shepard getting back together. I then had to gun down Wrex after he ambushed me whilst I was heading back to the Normandy. RIP Wrex and Tali.

Once back on the Normandy I then proceeded to upgrade the weapons Ash and Vega use to level X, since they are the squadmates my Vanguard normally uses, except in missions where you get a compulsory squadmate. So the Typhoon was upgraded to X, along with their signature weapons, as in weapons no other squadmate but them uses, the Black Widow and Piranha. The amount of money I had to spend was ridiculous though, over 700k, 250k for the Black Widow at the Spectre store and the rest for upgrading the Black Widow, Piranha and Typhoon to X. FML.

It's going to take a few more playthroughs before I max out every weapon it seems, in my first playthrough I spent all my money on buying all the weapon mods that showed up in the stores, model ships, fish, medi gel, Ash's poetry book gift, Aquarium VI, the N7 armour pieces and the Wraith and Paladin. I also had to upgrade the Wraith and Paladin to level X. On this second playthrough I have just blown all my money on James and Ash, I am so broke right now.

Ah well, I'm about to start Leviathan, owning Reapers with Ash and James should help make my Shepard forget how poor he is ;_;

Trying to fix my laptop's 'random freeze/reboot' issue.

Uninstalled Win8, installed Win7, reinstalled all drivers.

Now have a videocard conflict, Argh!!!

Just finished Sur'kesh. With particle rifle and incendiary ammo, the endboss Atlas was in bits and pieces before Liara and James were even finished complaining about how hard it was going to be to kill it.

Finally recruited everyone in ME2, just finishing off some side missions. I'm actually excited to import this character into ME3 as I've only played through the Citadel DLC once (FemShep/Traynor, too much awesome it almost made me want to make another FemShep but I gotta' go back to my ManShep) and I just realised that I bought the Leviathan DLC when it launched and NEVER played it.

Come to think about it, I'm ONLY playing through the entire trilogy again because of the Citadel DLC. And it's a Shep I made off my appearance, well tried. First time in 7 years doing that.

Today I wandered the Milky Way galaxy, looking for reasons to not do the coinciding, intensely-personal favors that EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of my crew has asked me to do for them. I guess mass-abductions are a secondary problem when unoccupied buildings need to be blown up, or recording devices that in no way interest me need to be recovered. I miss Wrex.

On the bright side, I did find a super OP sniper rifle in a random pile of crap on a Collector Ship. That made the ensuing escape much more manageable.

Finished Mass Effect: Deception. A rather depressing end to some interesting characters, and I didn't notice most of the errors until I reread the PDF doc about them afterwards (except for Chora's Den).

Also, it didn't suck.

So this is probably really old but, in Mass Effect 2, make the basic N7 armour all black and equip the Kestrel Helmet are you're basically the re-booted RoboCop.

 Finally completed a trilogy playthrough on insanity. Going to play the citadel dlc as an epilogue of sorts, then I'm going to take a break from the MEU for a little bit. Too many things have been put on hold these past few months since I started playing ME1 back in July. All in all, a fantastic series for the most part.

I finished playing lair of the shadow broker (this time, before the SM) for what seems like the 20th time. Still really fun, but this is the first time I did it on the PS3.

And I swear the skycar chase is mirrored on the ps3 from the xbox 360 version.

Afterwards, I took care of mordin and grunt's loyalty missions

I played through Omega and Citadel for the first time over the last few days.(third playthrough of 3 overall).
Omega- 2/10. Offers nothing, and I will not play it again
Citadel- 5/10. Tries too hard to be funny and doesn't fit in with the game at all. There were a few decent moments though

I am just starting Earth, but I have lost interest tbh.

Thinking of jumping back in with the renegade vanguard I have in ME 1 after taking a break from ME for a few weeks. I hate doing this because he is probably my favorite squadmate in the whole series but I think I am going kill off Wrex in Virmire this time around. Should make the genophage arc more interesting and not a no brainer this time around.

Killed some Cerberus troopers and Adjutants finishing off Omega, letting Aria mindf*ck the General to death...killed some Cat 6 mercs in a sushi bar, the Citadel Archives, and the landing pad to retake the Normandy. Will kick FemShep-clone's azz later...and probably shoot Brooks in the back.

Today I made the easy Insanity difficulty even easier (ME3). Sentinel Tech Armor + Fortification both spec'd for power damage and DR leading to a 90% DR passive and 60% power boost. Stack as much weapon damage bonus as you can after that for an absolutely unstoppable powerhouse of a shep. Keep a light loadout for combos.
Use the Hurricane for extra cheese.
