However, did Shepard give up when the first council didn't believe the him/her about the reapers in ME1? No!
Did Shepard give up after dying? No!
So who am I to toss in the towel because of this.
Will continue to free Omega with Aria, 20 min at the time. This might take a while, but at least I am having fun every second of it.
Have fun gaming everyone

Working on an ME1 Infiltrator. Just finished Therum and Feros. Trying to decide if I can stand doing any of the Citadel content or UNC missions. As an RP matter I have trouble coming up with any reason to go back to the Citadel at all unless I get skunked on random item drops and need to shop, and most of the UNC missions are not relevant to stopping Saren.
Is there any list out there that tells me what I can "get away with" skipping in ME1 for a series playthrough? What I mean is doing any content that carries over into your ME2 import save and skipping the trash.

Looks like this might be a pretty comprehensive breakdown: http://social.biowar...61339/1#1361339

Thanks. Quite a few more sidequests carry over than I would have liked, but skipped e-mails I can probably tolerate.

Always hit your enemy at their weakest point of defense, so first things first, I decided to go looking for Benezia's daughter, Liara. I found her on Therum, in some Prethean ruins locked in some ancient security device. Who knows how long she could have stayed trapped like that. Like I told her, "You shouldn't have been messing around with technology you don't understand."

All recruitment and collector ship done; now working my way through loyalty missions. ME1 import, pleased with how the face turned out from this:

I started off as paragon thinking I'd try and make some different decisions. Like I saved Ash this time. And made Udina the councillor. Then when I hit ME2 I decided to switch to renegade thinking that Shepard was pissed off about the council treating him badly. There are still some things I won't do though, and there's some paragon choices I will always make. Hope it doesn't bite me in the ass later.
Today I recruited Thane. Renegade style.

Don't want to a make a separate topic, can someone help me? Do you have to choose the top option for each time you talk with her? I think I chose the lower one during the 2nd meeting in the spectre office. I then gave her access on our last meeting, but then she died on horizon.

Also trying new dialogue choices compared to the safer goody goody paragon in my earlier trilogy playthrough, played ME1 as paragade and now attempting quite a few renegade interrupts and dialogues. Sometimes what Shep eventually says as compared to the option on the wheel is completely opposite, like about Ashley after Horizon. Guess its true fro paragon choice as well, just more profound for renegade.
Also when should I start Arrival?

It's a lead-in for ME3, so after the Suicide Mission at the end of the game.
