Dropped by the Citadel to sort out some shenanigans with the volus ambassador and accepted his offer of volus bombing support in exchange for keeping shtum about a turian colony he'd ratted out to Cerberus. While I was there, I met up with Miranda and Javik at the embassies, had friendly lunch dates with Liara and Kaidan, caught James getting his back tattooed, negotiated a trade with the refugees on behalf of Doctor Chakwas and struck up a romance with Cortez. Apparently, I fill out an Alliance uniform very nicely if you know what I mean.
Back in space, I liberated a Cerberus fighter base on Noveria with Kaidan and Javik's help and took Garrus and James to Ann Bryson's dig site for a daring rescue. Fun fact about this mission- it's one of the few times where characters will fire their equipped weapons in cutscenes without defaulting to an Avenger or Predator. However, it still defaults to those firing animations, meaning my squaddies were firing their Mantis sniper rifle and N7 Crusader in full auto mode. How they pulled this off without breaking their arms, I have no idea.
What did you do today in the Mass Effect trilogy?

I've spent almost all day reading this and DA:I forums. There was a long, long but funny thread here that got way off topic but still fun to read (even as a "troll" was involved) - so it's been a nice day.

Bittersweet day in the ME 'verse.
Found a gun that shoots thresher maws and aimed it a reaper on Tuchanka. Cured the genophage and bid a teary farewell to Mordin. Going to miss him.
Stopped a coup attempt on the Citadel. Wanted to ridicule Kai Leng about bringing a knife to a gun fight when Thane showed up and ruined the whole thing by getting himself stabbed. Damn. Going to miss him too.
Ah well, at least Udina got shot.

Started the quarian/geth campaign today; took on the geth dreadnought with Kaidan and Tali, picked up Legion in the process and gave Han'Gerrel a well deserved punch in the gut. At this stage, it's looking like I'm going to give this one to the geth, though Javik is irritatingly persuasive at making me wary of them. I don't think I'll take him to any of the Rannoch missions.
I always feel bad for refusing the Arc Pistol that Tali gives me at the start of the dreadnought mission. I'd like to try it out on EDI, but it's too much of a piece of crap. Also, when Joker sarcastically suggests soloing the dreadnought, am I the only one who kinda wishes that was actually an option? Because that would be badass.
"Cramped together in close quarters? For the first time, I'm jealous of your squadmates..." oh Steve, you tease!

Started another playthrough and decided to canonize this one (despite this Shep being a FemShep and I'm going to romance Thane with her). Hit Eden Prime, killed Dahlia, saved Burns and convinced the biotics to stand down, helped out Zabaleta, gave Schells' device to Doran, helped out Emily Wong (both times), helped out Sha'ira then banged her (cause it's what I'd do
), helped out Rita with her Jenna, recruited Liara, found Kahoku's missing marines, helped Dr. Michel out, and shut down and AI on the Citadel.

Finally rolled a non-import FemShep just to see how it differs from the imported ones and to romance Traynor.

I can't tell, but is this satirical?
Because there's a super popular comic on deviantART that's been going on for around a year based on this exact premise.

Reached the ending and had a faint hope Glowboy wasn't there. Much facepalming at the fire/reaper comparison. Still motivated to play it all again though.

Mission....Accomplished
i had fully experienced the ME experience, i was so over-whelmmed by the tragic ending in such depression, being that my last words to Liara [my L.I. though-out my journey] "i will always love you", and facing my tragic sacrificial death and for her to be forever alone. just had me in tears

[i was so over-whelmmed by "this" with depression i think my mental sake just went to a coma]

I was playing through to get the Destroy ending. Just before I made the choice I turned around to shoot the Starkid in the face for a final laugh. Turns out, the joke was on me.

I was supporting a small team, deployed to Noveria and Tuchanka in order to clean up bigshot Commander Shepard's mess.
Heard he took out three or four sad Cerberus ****s, and then just left. Yeah, as in, left. I mean, maybe he did lock the front door and hid the key under the doormat - that'll teach those Atlases, I tell ya. Who'da thought they'd come retake the place anyways? Ain't quite the season neither on Iceboxia or that Krogan litter pan, you know. Probably wouldn't find the time to get his hair done for some ANN interview otherwise. The nerve...

Well, I did it. I let the quarians die to save the geth. There was no way to save both, and I know it was the right decision from a practical and moral standpoint, but my god does it kick you in the nuts for it. The only one who approved was EDI. Everyone else - Garrus, Liara, Kaidan, even Admiral Hackett - were at best regretful and at worst angry at what I'd done.
Putting that nastiness behind me, I scanned a few planets and returned to the Citadel to talk with the asari councillor. While there, I popped over to Bryson's lab and used the psychic link with Ann to track down Leviathan. I also nabbed a husk head, cos me and Vega gonna go bowling. Then I went to the Presidium and found myself transported to the mysterious City of Fussy Bastards where no one would accept the gifts I gave them unless they were recovered by probe. Also, Garrus was nowhere to be found at the Normandy docks despite the map telling me he was there for our man date.
It's good thing he wasn't actually, because Wrex showed up and tried to kill me. That was a hairy one. Then I went to Thessia, where nature took it's course. I don't blame myself too much for failing to beat Kai Leng, since my squadmates Liara and Javik had spent the entire mission demonstrating that the best place to be in a firefight is lying face down on the floor.

In my first ever paragon run I completed Garrus' loyalty mission in 2 with Sidonis living. Shepard is now sitting in her quarters contemplating the best ways for her squadmates to die in the inevitable suicide mission.

Turns out this Shepard leaned toward the control ending. Huh, I've only chosen destroy before, so this was a nice change. Although the monologue at the end weirded me out a bit.

Well last night I tried to play ME3 and Origin had the cheek to demand that I activate my game, which I'm sure I've done twice already. I couldn't because the internet was down. So cheers, Origin!

I officially have given up on trying to get the ME3 achievement "The One and Only".
I've tried literally everything, but my Level 60 Engineer can't beat the opponents
