Hey there - is there any way on XBOX 360 or PS3 to skip the dream sequences? They're alright for the first playthrough, but they're just kind of repetive by your third or fourth Shepard.

If some enterprising modder could do this for the PC version I'd be eternally in their debt.

celestial_emperor has it spot on. They are good the first time but even on the second play through they've become a chore. Especially since I couldn't care about the kid the first time around.

Would have been nice if the dreams had related to Shepard's background. Colonist sees people dying on Mindor, Spacer sees Mom being killed, Earthborn sees their old gang being wiped out.

Discounting the last mission, I've played ME3 five times now and I always enjoy the dream sequences. The atmosphere is fantastic and I'm always absorbed by it.
They're so short, so I don't see why they matter so much to people that dislike them. Also, it's not about that one kid in particular, I think it's supposed to be symbolism. However:

This is a pretty good idea, tailoring the dreams to be more specific to your Shepard. I like it! It would require some work, however. For instance, when I tried an Earthborn Shepard, she pretty much cut all ties to the old gang in the ME1 quest. It wouldn't make a lot of sense if she'd dreamt about them instead of the kid now. Likewise, the attack on Mindoir is in the past and is unrelated to the Reapers. I'm not sure it would work as well.
But the general idea behind having slightly different dreams depending on your Shepard is a good one :)

The kid always seemed to me to be too strangely behaved throughout the prologue. From the first time I played I thought of it as an entity rather than a child, which is why I wasn't bothered about the shuttle blowing up.

I would have preferred the dream had people shepard knew turning into husks and chasing shep. Or shepard hanging in space after the collector attack.

Yes I wouldn't mind being able to skip the dreams not just because of the inclusion of the kid, but not enough cut scenes in me3 are skippable.
