I'm not complaining.
I'm just saying there's no consistency. If you have 2 enemies that get into bubble mode only when attacked by travel-time powers, but not hitscan - don't make an enemy that's invulnerable to both and slap more health and armor to it. How is a new player suppose to know?
He can notice that a Phantom for example doesn't block his Reave or Overload, but does block his Warp or Throw. Banshee - same. Praetorian blocks both. And when he can be attacked with powers - he attacks at the same time with laz0rs - forcing the player into hard cover. Banshee only throws slow Warps that can be dodged or even absorbed, Phantom can't attack in the bubble.
No consistency, no explanation, no balance.
To be fair there doesn't really need to be consistancy. and a lack of them being the same does not automatically mean a lack of balance.
When new to a game, it shouldn't be assumed that because two things are similar that they are identical.
Seeing as how different factions are different that also means that things can be adjusted.
Much like how our Asari and Turian Infiltrators have a different evolution 6 that are not 25% damage boosts like the standard Sniper Rifle Tactical Cloak.
Not really like that.
Lemme give you an example. I play an Asari Huntress and I cast a DC on a Praetorian while he was on the ground and then I shoot him.
A teammate throws an arc grenade from another side of the map to some enemy that was on the other side of the wall and since arc grenades ignore LOS they go trough walls and hit a Praetorian that is now in flying motion. Pretorian puts on the bubble and cancels my DC and my Warp ammo bonus. It's no my fault and it's not my teammates fault. It's just bad stupid design.
How about we give Praetorians 75% DR catwheels as-well? I feel they lack health.
