When I saw the advert a
while back now I felt a little down to be honest. First it was said they were
aiming to bring it out at the end of 2013 then there where roomers it would
come out of the BEGINNING of 2014 but now it's at the end of 2014? People did say they
may stall for the new console but doesn't that come out of the beginning of
next year? So why wait another year to be released? I personally have been waiting
a long time already and now I have to wait another year. If they still need to work and improve on it, then far enough if they are making improvements. But
if the game is complete and finished why do we have to wait so long?

Anyone
else feeling upset over this? :crying:

No i am happy its coming out end of 2014 so they have time to make the game good. If the reason for the delay is multi player then i would be disappointed.

I'm with you :) I would be even more happier if they took yet another year (or two) to complete DA: I :) It will be a dertermine idea to make sure that we don't get disappointed.

Yeah that's what I was saying. If the reason is they are still improving on the game then I am absolutely fine with it, still sad I have to wait so long but it is a good reason. If they have done everything they need to then why such a long wait?

Only if the game turns out to be bad.

Well...
If it's because the Frostbite 3 engine is hard to program rpgs for, as claimed in another thread then why use it if it causes a delay ?
If your team lacks the experience to do the job why wasn't Bioware better prepared ?
How much of this delay is self inflicted ?
Just asking.

I am a bit upset, but from what they were saying on sprint review day seems like they still need to do a lil bit of work on it, even tho i would prefer to play it as soon as possible sometimes you just have to wait for things. And i also hope they don't take this long just because of multiplayer

Nope, I don't get upset about games. That'd be as dumb as throwing a riot 'coz my team lost the playoffs/grudge match/whatever.

Wouldn't it be better if game companies went back to the old days of telling you they had a game when it was ready for release? What's the point of hype?

Yeah. That would be a pain. If we waited a couple of years for this game and it ends up being bad. I can't help to look forward to it very much though. There are a few things that worry me but all in all I am ecited to play it! A bit too impatient maybe lol.

We don't know what the reason is, that's why I'm asking. If it's a bad reason then they are going to have some angry customers.

Oh is that the reaon? Well if it is because they are still working on it then that's fine with me. As I mentioned before I'm still a little upset but if the time is needed to improve it, to make it a better game then that's a good reason for a delay.

I'm surprised someone is actually sad about it. Personally, I'd push it back even further if I could, for RPGs I like to think that sequels should be at least three full years apart from each other and the longer they're in production the better they'll be when they come out. I say let them take their time, hopefully they learned with their mistakes in DA2.

Sorry I'm not American, we don't use the word "fall" her often. I thought that meant at the end of the year. So when is it coming out?

autumn - 'fall' is 'autumn'

But my bet would still be 'end of the year' as it gets shoved back just a little more

well i didnt really said that was the actual reason but to  me personally MP doesnt meant much, but as someone said  maybe its because of the new engine or things maybe  not working as expected and such and they have to fix it? idk they never really gave us any solid reason as to why it got delayed

OKay, maybe disapointed is a better way in putting it? Lol.
Doing it that way could help in some ways like not getting everyone hyped as you said. But some people prefere beng kept in the loop.

It is roughly around 3 years already. They said they where working on this game while  they were working on the second one and that was a couple years back so they are right on time then. :)

Really? Nice so we don't have to wait that long after all then. Not if it doesnt actually get pushed back like you said. I hope they don't.

Oh right. Well if their having problems with it maybe then that's still a good reason to delay. I would be even angrier if I baught the game and it was flawed with tons of problems. As long as it's a good reason their delaying I'm okay with that ;)

I've actually had a nightmare about a multiplayer game. I don't care if they take a while developing it if it's worth the time they put into it. If it's carved into chunks visually like DA2 I'm going to be seriously disappointed.
