I would also like to see some kind of surprise in the story related to the Blight. I think it would be really cool if the Blight or the cause for it is something totally different than what we think it is.

lol, I see where you're coming from, and it is a truly awesome idea. I'm not even sure if there's a giant "but" in there to crush you hopes.
I know the two games aren't similar at all, but Mafia II seems to be going for the most detailed approach to the whole "living, breathing city" thing that I've seen so far, so let's see how that goes.
To be honest, the only thing I want more than anything else in a sequel is your choices being acknowledged. I know it'll be a resource nightmare, and that it won't happen, but imagine it: A series where the choices you make actually affect the game world, how people feel about you, etc., across all sequels. No canons to make your choices feel worthless, no shoehorning your PC into another storyline. Pure, unadulterated, impossible beauty. Oh well...

by housing, he meant he wants to have his own house. like what most people thought wardens keep would be.wanderon wrote...

Hi,
Just put a new post so we can share with Bioware what we want for the next DOA
-House's
-Open World
-More Weapons and Armor
-Graphic equal to Mass Effect 2 or better
-Multiplayer or online gaming (OF COURSE)
if people have more idea share it and hope that Bioware will be happy to grant our wishes for the next DAO
P.S. let's vote
Lets vote indeed - I vote NO to multiplayer or online gaming, or making it into another Morrowind (open world), NO to taking time away from more content, plot, companions, dialoge, to fool with the graphics, and I haven't found anything wrong with the current houses.
What I want for the next DA:O is more of the same great stuff we got from this one.
what i want to see, is more player races, like qunari. and then different types of each race (orlesian human, dwarves from that other city whos name i forgot, antigan humans etc etc.) but mainly qunari. i would love to see more of them, if not play one myself.

An Open World would be interesting. I would imagine something like in the old Ultima 7, an open world that feels alive due to every NPC having his own day-night-cycle, interactivity with world items, many animals etc. This would be great.

to the first part, i dunno i really liked the way the game was set up. with certain areas or zones only being unlockable if you have the quest to go there etc.
and as far as the story of the blight, its called "awakening" lol. thats pretty much going to be what you were looking for there.

3. Better loot, especially on orange bosses, not just another item to sell.
This! A thousand times, this! That is my only real request. I get so tired of killing some of the harder mobs to get a metal shard as a reward for my efforts.

More Alistair.
More dialouge and reactivity from companions when things happen.i think DAO was a good start for it, but I think it can expanded on and be something really awesome. Like how people say there should be more of a reaction from party members if you go blood mage, or how most of your party members should really give you a -100 approval, plus a serious scolding if you boot Alistair in favor of Loghain. Things like that.

1. Unique clothes and clothing/armor color options (dyes as in Fable, modern clothes hidden in Oblivion, hats, glasses, vests)
2. More romance / relationship dialogue (both good and evil, please)
3. More puzzles - hacking and slashing are OK, but mind games are good too (the riddles should be harder if that is what is easiest to implement)
4. Keep up the backstory development, I actually really enjoyed the codex entries
5. More hairstyles/ body options

I really like the game, and I guess that more lively cities etc would mean a large drain on those with a less fancy graphic card. Not that I would mind of course ^^.
Oh well, everything that improves the roleplay level would be a big win for me. It is already great, don't get me wrong, but there is always room for improvement

I'd like to see a return of the 6 person party, like in Baldur's Gate, Icecwind Dale, PS:T, etc.
Yes.
AND ... then I'd also like an option for "autopause" after every round for combat. The best thing about Dragon Age: Journeys (besides the DA:O loot) was the returned to true turn-based combat.

There's so many games that are MADE for multiplayer already, why complain because there are games that are made and meant to be enjoyed solo, like a good book.

Drow?
Drow are Like dark elves, purplish black skin, white hair and usually red or purple eyes. they typically live underground and are evil, but not all are evil so i think it would be an interesting origins story full of conflict....
