While playing Mass Effect 3, I thought of something.  "Wow," I thought to myself, "I just upgraded a ton of weapons, I sure wish I had a way of changing all my squadmates' loadouts.  Whatever happened to those weapon lockers from ME2?"  Another thought hit me soon after.  "While I'm thinking of it," I thought, "how about a way to distribute squadmates' skill points while on the ship?"

In essence, there's my suggestions; Bring back armor lockers and let us distribute skill points on the ship for all squadmates.

I like.

Less important, but I'd like a few more cosmetic options. Like changing hair (even squadmate features).

I also actually like ME1's weapon acquisition system the best. I liked picking up new versions of guns, even though it cluttered the inventory. Fix that and it would be nice.

I really don't know how I feel if they went back to the Protagionist is carrying 200 sets of armor inventory system.  One thing that always annoyed me is how completely random the weapon system from Mass Effect 1 was, even if I would pickup a Rank V pistol there is a good chance the Rank II I am carrying is better, because it was from a worthless design. I wouldn't want the inventory system of Mass Effect in every game, but I do think it works in Mass Effect.

OP: I wouldn't mind that either, but I can live with the system they have now.  What I think what would be nice to see is the change to access the loadout for the protagionist earlier in the game on a New Game+ game, for it was frustrating not to be able to change my Shepard's armor until after the Mars mission.

You don't need the ME1 style inventory to pick up new versions of guns, you can simply upgrade by looting. Basically that's how it is in ME3 now, right? You can find stuff on the mission and upgrade your guns that way.

Agree with the OP by the way. This annoyed me throughout the series. Worst case was in ME1. I had certain squad mates I wouldn't take on missions for a while. Then I find e.g. a heavy Krogan armor which I want to give to Wrex but I can't (despite the weapons locker) because his armor skill is not leveled up yet. So I actually have to take him to the next mission in order to upgrade his skills so that I an give him the armor and get rid of it in my inventory.
So yea, would be nice to have access to all squad mate customization options on board the ship.

Weapon lockers would be nice, also modable armor that is a little more like ME1's
And a chance to actually see all of my team useing/wearing the stuff I found, upgraded and gave them. Just tink about how epic a cutscene like in Citadel DLC not everyone using an Avenger/Predator would be.

hm...

I would like the weapon-lockers to make a return, too (not as in real lockers, but i want my squad accessible through the mod-table...)

As for the loot system:

I didn't like the upgrade system for weapons in ME3 - why would the same weapon have different versions of it (and why does it get stronger if i pick another one of the same weapons up?)...of course the system in ME1 was not that good either...i propose a mix:

No more numbered weapon-tiers...i would rather have some more varied guns on the whole (with different stats) and weapon upgrades (Ammo-Mods included as Ammo-Powers are IMHO bull-crap and illogical...) with slots depending on the weapon (say a very expensive sniper- or assault-rifle has 5 general slots (a starter weapon would have 1 or 2) for things like barrel-mods, sensors etc., 2 (or more?) slots for sights (a starter weapon should have one - so you would have to decide weather you mount a scope or something else, which the hightech gun would not make you do) and up to 3 slots for ammo-mods (making high tier weapons highly variable, because you can cycle ammo mods for different enemies etc.) while a cheap gun would still have only one slot

and: i want "Thermal-Clips" to go or at least become optional (no more weapons that do not fire if you do not have those clips as it destroys the lore, that weapons do not need to be reloaded in combat (those ammo-blocks are good for thousands of shots!)) with weapons cooling down on their own (while you are still able to jetison clips to cool them down imidiately if you can't afford to wait)

greetings LAX
