Why is the Drell Adept so uncommon in pug lobbies now?

Such a powerhouse character but you rarely see him pugging that much anymore. Also some other easy mode classes like the Asari Vanguard are fairly rare in pug lobbies now. I could almost understand on UUP as squishy as the characters are but rare even on uug in my experience.
I do see what you mean though; I hardly ever see drelldepts - but when I do; they're always well-played.
Honestly I think it's just that there are so many other kits to play. In the case of the adept class; buffing singularity made a big difference. I have a friend who sticks to the vanilla human adept because it's powerhouse enough. Personally I love my asari, but we're all different.
There are also so many wonderful adepts to play (unlike other classes that just have mainly boring kits and only one or two good ones).

Yeah you don't see them much. Probably because there are a lot of new players in PUGs these days.
Actually, good point. New players tend not to have grenade capacity, and nowadays grenade capacity is like bread and butter.

So all things being equal... only one in eighteen or so lobbies is likely to have one.

I was hoping you'd say "why die when you can live."Tokenusername wrote...

I can't drell too effectively. Unless he's the infiltrator.

He is rather squishy. PUG's probably
would have a tough time keeping him alive. Plus not all of the them have
maxed out Grenade-capacity gears.
Also, this. I rarely come across drelldepts. Even rarer when they are competent. It's a shame really.
More grenades for me then.

Only if you use the Crusader and Javelin like I do.

Grenade Capacity is a waste. Warfighter is enough. Equip Harrier + Warp Ammo and go nuts.

I've actually been wanting to do that, my Javelin is stuck at 2 though, I'd probably use a Widow instead.
