I want to be in a relationship with someone who isn't attracted to women and understands what it's like to be pressured into liking something you just can't like. I also wouldn't date someone who had vastly different political or religious views, either. It's important to me that we agree on that kind of stuff. Guess that means I'm a bigot because I want to be able to relate to the person I'm with.

Well, to be fair, the cover shows Shirtless!Kaidan twisted into a classic boobs & butt pose, so it is already about sex...

But yeah, OP, either skip this three dollar, 22 page comic that will probably make somebody somewhere unhappy no matter what, or just accept that somewhere in his past, Kaidan did like at least one woman, and that takes nothing away from his current relationship with your male Shepard.

It's possible that the cover art doesn't actually depict a scene that happens. That's not uncommon for comics.

Just to jump in here.

This event is an event that shaped Kaiden into the person you meet on the Normandy.  The events with Rahna and defending her drastically changed the person he is, it essentially defined his character needing to be in control and keeping himself centered out of fear of killing someone.  that is why it is canon, Kaiden would not be Kaiden if this event was stricken from his personal history.  he would have ended up a completely different character, maybe even one you would not personally like, if this event did not happen.

Without his relationship with Rahna, Kaiden would just not be Kaiden.

It does not have to be ambiguous because we all know that he is attracted to both men and women.

This event, and his feelings for Rahna are vital to his character. It can not be ignored because it does not fit your headcanon.
