Combat drone, skippable?

Get out of here, you belong in a garbage can.

Combat drone is actually skippable.

But the human engineer without a suicide drone is nowhere near as fun - it is so funny to see enemy reactions to the drone staggering them, then turning around to re-target and the thing blowing up in their face(s) - occasionally setting off tech bursts/fire explosions.

I have spec'ed my HE with 66653 (drone with suicide, shock, and chain lightning). I personally don't see a more fun build than that.

I have not used the Salarian Engineer much. I don't like the static decoy much - much more fun in the way the combat drone moves around and chases enemies - far more utility I'd imagine.

since this thread went that way... no, humans never ate fleas off each others. Neanderthals are closely related to, but ultimately not, humans.

Considering the exact lineage of ****** sapiens isn't exactly known, and apes in general have the habit of picking things off each others bodies and eating them, you're not in a strong position there.

But it's irrelevant because I was just using an ad hominem and I don't really care if it's actually true anyways. Salarians aren't even real.

Having completed tech mastery 42 times.   I feel the HE is superior overall but the SE is totally OP against Geth and Cerberus.

Zero fitness build for both.  It's all about the killing power.  :o

Decoy is not as bad as people are making out, it draws a lot of fire. It does its job with a single point as well so you can run with a 5/3/6/6/6 build. Salarian is very dependent on Incendiary ammo, if both are using it I would say they are pretty even overall.

FWIW, what's interesting to me is all the people saying the HE is better because he can combo more effectively. AoE damage is nice and all but the damage from tech bursts is both slow and not all that great compared to the direct damage from tech powers, and mostly I find comboing with that kit to be an inefficient waste. If you're trying to take down an armored boss, spamming incinerate will do more damage than priming and detonating FEs, and if you're facing mooks you're better off hitting them with overload and then shooting them in the face. Instances where detonations really increase DPS significantly are rare. Certain loadouts maximize the potentional a of triple detonator, of course, but that limits the HE to a small selection of low-DPS, low-skill weapons that I don't particularly enjoy using.

Your post was in obvious reference to skinsatchel's post about Salarians eating flies, thus making a direct comparison to bring them to the same level. I a point of showing the difference in these two situations to provide that Humans are still better than those slimy Salarians.

Context noob.

btw, while I am enjoying our little back and forth, we should be wary as the robomods have a history of mistaking good fun for terrorism.
