You'll get a lot of level IV ammo. Mostly Cryo Rounds.

A spectre pack will have a 8-10% chance to drop a UR. A PSP will have a 15% chance.

True, those numbers are very true.

Those are the numbers I see when combining everyone else's numbers. Some claim there is a difference between PSP, AP, and RP but they seem the same to me (15% across). Minor flux here there by a percent or 2.

So all you hoarders out there, start equipping, missiling, and geling.
FWIW, I got my URs much faster with SPs rather than PSP/AP/RPs. Don't have to spend any credits on VPs for consumables (occaisonal JP needed though if I am having a bad run with pugs).

What I've read is that you will just get extras above 255, which you will lose after exiting ME3.

Damn, didn't know this. What a nice way to troll

That is true for ammo but not the consumables you listed. Gels, Ops, missles, and thermal packs cap out at 255 and you start receving equipment.

I'm curious if the spinning Geth death ray turret of mediocrity will be more viable at level X (currently using it on a Flamerless Geth Soldier).

In any case, it doesn't help to hoard these either as a way to max you URs.

True, but those slots will only drop Level I-II equipment in it's place, no added chance of an UR. So unless you're in desperate need on some more Level I Explosive Rounds and Level II Cyro Ammo, you're better off to just use your equipment when it's needed to maximize your chance of extacting.
