On a side note, why were you using a acolyte on a character kit with energy drain?
Is their some interesting technique this enables that I'm unaware of, or were you just using it to apply incendiary ammo?

Just one of my attempts to solo geth/jade/plat.

Ah.  Just using it for the near-guaranteed ammo priming for max dps, using energy drain to detonate on geth enemys, for free shield regen, and presumably using incinerate to detonate on the non-geth enemys.
Sound about right?
If so, can't argue with that, acolyte is rediculously good as a incendiary primer, I sometimes have to force myself NOT to equip it on characters, because its so good.
Almost put it on a Krogan soldier with melee and power mods, just to maximise the effectiveness of incendiary cheese with inferno grenades and carnage detonations.
The very idea of a krogan with a acolyte is... disturbing, to say the least:sick:.
Ended up carrying a predator pistol as a amp handle instead, as seen in use by Wrex in ME1.
Finally found a use for the b****y thing on gold!
Was not the only gun he carried, obviously, just needed something light to carry the amps on.
If anyone hasn't already, try an N7 slayer with acolyte, constant fire explosions:devil:.
