I have been unable to log into the Bioware servers inside my dragon Age game for about a year now. Says servers not available. I purchased the game before Origin existed, and used Bioware's old downloader to download the game (dont know if this matters or not)
My game was patched to 1.04, and I wanted to run Golems of Ankg...?? (sp?) but it required 1.05. Tried to patch it and the patch tells me that I don't have Dragon Age installed. *sigh*
So I re-download it from Origin again (it was free) but it appears the executable is 1.00.b something. In other words, not patched at all.
My question: Do I have to download each patch, and install them, or does 1.05 include 1.04 and 1.03 and 1.02a and 1.02 et. al.?
Why the heck is it so hard to get information around here? Because of all this uninstall/reinstall, for whatever reason, I am unable to post in the PC tech support forum either.
Bioware, if you wanted to make this as difficult, complicated and frustrated as possible, you've succeeded.

not only did this kind soul answer, but I found a link on that new ea help site to live chat, and got my other issues squared away. I just searched for "I want to talk to a live person" and the opportunity to live chat came up.
