Does anyone know how to add custom damage types?
Eg: So it comes up in the chat bar with a specific color, and resistances can be calculated etc.
I have access to 2da and tlk edits, so what do I need to do?

I do not know of any methods right off hand to add new damage types to the game.
There is a file called iprp_damagetypes.2da, but from the looks of it, it's only for dealing with the cost of bonus damage to items added as an item property and doesn't let you add new damage types to the game.

You might check this entry on the Vault. He made the requisite changes, so you can follow along.
One note: he claimed that the resistances, etc. worked just fine, but I've read elsewhere that the engine treats new damage types as bludgeoning. May want to test that.
