If you had an Ultimate Sacrifice import, do they still talk about the Warden disappearing at the end of DA2?

Good question; I don't know. But a bunch of people have pointed out on this and on similar threads that if you imported a file with a DA:O Ultimate Sacrifice ending and an Awakenings playthrough, you still have an Orlesian warden who could be the Warden that disappears.

That is a good question, anyone have any idea? They must just change the dialogue.

They still mention The Warden. Obviously the Orlesian one if the original one is dead.

Concerning the OP:

Most of Bioware's protagonists go missing.

The Grey Warden and Hawke are just living it up in The Lost Protagonist Tavern with The Hero of Neverwinter and co.

It'd be better off if Revan and Exile stayed with them all along. Must've got sober.

Then you are fu****
I doubt they would skip events from awakening because without it half of ferelden would be crushed , after your warden death wardens still need rebuild order in ferelden so they send orlesian warden , yep you can't even play as orlesian warden if you import your old warden even if he is dead if you do that game change yor choice about ritual with morrigan and you play as old warden who had fun with morrigan.

well my main hawk is with isabela raiding qunari ships and using hawks magic and the combustion grenades to take their numbers down and become rich. and they are raiding slave ships and letting the slaves go but taking the money on board the ship and selling the ship. like the qunari we don't waste anything. I think hawk will come back in some way or even be mentioned but they will do something and I doubt they will come back

No, she's off in dark space preventing the SIth Empire from returning. And she's not a mage, she's a smuggler/sentinel.

Would I like to hear about what happened to them? Of course!
But I'd rather it be little nods here and there from either party batter or NPC's talking about rumours than actually see them dead or otherwise.

They've done enough, their stories have been told and quite frankly deserve the right to disappear into the world. (and player head canon)

I mean, I'd like to think that my Warden and Zev took over The Crows. Hawk and Fenris went sailing throughout the Thedas seas with Isabela. Then they all eventually met up, and our now chilling on a beach somewhere in Antiva, chillin and drinking cocktails. (Varric sometime drops by for a Tom Collins and to catch up on gossip)

Would I want Bioware to cater to that specifically? No, because it would alienate others head canons and p*ss a lot of people off.
Leaving their fate ambiguous would makes the majority happy to fill in the blanks.

Although part of me would like to see both of them again, see how they are getting on, I am also thinking the same as the poster above.

In my head my wardens have different outcomes/stories that probably wouldn't fit into Bioware's canon. So I think just an acknowledgement of them would be fine with me.

There should be an explanation as to their fates aka what happened to them.

TBH if they pulled "LOL YOUR WARDEN IS DEAD" I would be pissed, since if I wanted him dead I would go with ultimate sacrifice ending. As for Hawke; i guess you could have quest during which you would have 2 choices and one of them sends Hawke into grave. Same for that Orlesian Warden Commander that shows up if you go along with ultimate sacrifice ending.
