Does your final choice concerning Morrigan import into Dragon Age II at all, because I know that even if you choose to follow her through the Eluvian, Bann Teagan will state that the Warden should be in Denerim, even though the 3rd Act of Dragon Age II takes place years after Witch Hunt?

Yes, it simply doesn't do anything. Perhaps in Inquisition it will.

of course it only imports at all if you have the patched version of witch hunt (the unpatched version did not save after the final decision)

Yes, DA:O, DA:A and Witch Hunt all have the ability to connect to future titles. I do not know, however, if Golems of Amgarrak will and I know Leliana's Song will not (it was just an extension of something that was really already there in DA:O). I highly recommend going through all the DLC and base game of Origins and using the last autosave on Witch Hunt for Dragon Age II.

Yeah, I'm just deciding on whether or not I should go through the Eluvian with Morrigan. I heard that Witch Hunt had no affect on DAII, since even if you went through the portal, Teagan says the hero of fereldan (if alive) should be in Denerim.
