Haven't checked these boards in ages, so forgive me for maybe duping a thread (or posting in the wrong place. the only Gibbed thread I found was in the closed forum).

Does anyone have any links to tutorials for using Gibbed and Horizon on ME3 (on 360), or would be willing to give pointers here? I've obviously already looked at some YT vids and other posts here, but nothing's helped. Right now, I can't get the individual gamesave open in [the latest version of] Gibbed. I've tried extracting it via Horizon, but I can't extract the individual save - just the whole character file, which does me no good.

(if Gibbed's frowned on around here, apologies. my BioWare and Mass Effect wuvving credentials are rock solid, so I'm in no way denigrating ME3 itself - I'd just like to take some shortcuts in future playthroughs)

You move the whole character file, but experiment first with a b.s file in case it becomes corrupt. You just extract the specific save from your characters total saves that you want to edit in Horizon and put it into a folder (don't rename it!). Then you put that save in gibbeds - which is where you do all the modding - and then save over the old one in your folder and replace the old save in Horizon with the modded one. This is how it works with xbox, at least, but you need a flash drive.
Tips: don't play around with talent points; 6 points is how much you need for a LI; don't mess with war assets; don't put things in that should not exist without DLC, ect.

Cheers for the reply, although I actually got it to work before I checked back here (I think I eventually right-click/extracted to the flash drive - then it read the individual gamesave).

I successfully used a previous version of Gibbed with ME2 (to skip ME1 but retain the plot/LI flags), and talent points worked fine to approximate a lvl.60 import (I find ME1 almost unplayable compared to 2 and 3 these days). On 3, assets are easy enough to come by, and I have every piece of DLC so if I ever do want to unlock stuff earlier (doubtful), then that should be fine.
