What's the problem with Liara having plot-armor? She's the best character in the game.
No she's not. I think she's one of the worst.

Concerning Liara's plot shield, I think the impact of Thessia's aftermath would've been less dramatic without Liara or Samara in your team. Just my personal opinion.

She was on the same floor as her contact, proven by Shepard's dialogue, the bomb that did kill numerous other people

She wasnt even injured. Plot armor covers injury as well as death. Besides we dont know if Sekat was already wounded or not, he could have already been injured, likely, before being killed.CronoDragoon wrote...

So go by reason #1. Only one of the bombs went off, so Tela had to go in and kill the salarian and Liara personally if the other bomb didn't do the job. It didn't, so they had to kill the salarian but couldn't find Liara there until she popped out once Shepard showed up.
There's nothing really unbelievable about this. There's even a secondary justification for the bomb not going off, since it was a sloppy rush-job that was cooked together last minute once the Shadow Broker found out about the meeting.
I really don't see the issue with this particular event. This isn't a case of Indiana Jones surviving a bullet to the eye; ie unexplained or unreasonable.

I've also noticed in some places people saying that Tali is better off being with than Garrus than Shepard, just because they are both dextro-protein races, so they can get past boundaries that would be between humans and quarians. But what sounds like a better love story, two people of different races being together because they have the most similarites in comparison to other races, or two people from different races being together despite their differences and the boundaries they would face?
Who says that? Aside from the Dextro factor, Quarians are far more similar to humans than to Turians. They look like humans, their society is similar to humans and their sexual dimorphism is identical to humans.

. So she shielded herself from a bomb with biotics? I doubt anyone's reactions are that fast.CronoDragoon wrote...

That Sekat was injured while Liara was not may just show that she is a biotic and can protect herself from the concussion of the blast while he can't. If Sekat is even injured. It's hard to respond to a hypothetical counterpoint that has no evidence one way or another.
