Seldom seen Ash's marksman bug, since I typically play Femshep in romance with Kaidan.  Also, I play as the powers characters (Adept, Engineer, and as a casual player more interested in story rather than fighting....)

The base game will be the same, but interfaces will differ across platforms which could cause bugs that don't appear in other platforms.

I think the best time period they could possibly put the next Mass Effect is between ME1 and ME3. That way the politics and factions established could be there without a problem--as opposed to having humanity or other species being in a weaker position before those events happened--and the developers won't have to deal with the headache of deciding what to do about the ending. Since the general public knew very little about the Reapers before the invasion, they don't even need to be part of the game. Naturally, that means there's no reason for the characters in this new game to know Shepard beyond "the guy who is the first human Spectre". As we saw in ME2, the Terminus systems have enormous potential as a main setting for a new story. Since it's essentially lawless, your character doesn't even need to come in contact with the Council in any capacity. Because of all this, there might even be potential to have a protagonist that's not human. Since you don't necessairly need to have power or contact within the political structures, you don't need to worry about the political structures. The only reason I would want it to take place during or after the events of ME1 is because it seems it would be the simplest to have humanity with the power that it had in the series. What do you guys think?

My squaddies do plenty of damage in ME3 (on the 360). I observed that recently with my engineer.

You using DLC guns? Cause that's kinda cheating but hilariously effective.

Well with EA, the ME3 MP team, The gears producer and of course casey/mac's input..... I dont expect anything close to the immersion i had with ME1. But maybe having so little expectation will have the opposite effect, And by the time it's out we'll be 1-2 years into next gen, Games like dark souls 2, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Destiny, The division, Elder scrolls online and whatever else rpg wise will be out making ME an afterthought of which it's been to me for over a year.

They also have 2 from kingdoms of amalur. Makes sense taking RPG veterans and shooter veterans for a shooter rpg hybrid

ME4 was confirmed a while back, you're obviously new around here.

Nope, he isn't new here.

He's just returning after every DLC and bigger announcement and trying to revive his popularity of one of biggest creator of hate-threats on BSN (2-3 per day during his best days). But when at the beginning his thread were elaborated and made sense, at the end he was just repeating same things again and again.

I wouldn't have to repeat things if people actually internalized them rather than saying "h8ter lol" and passing that off as a legitimate criticism.

Do you think I enjoy still being angry about something like this a year and a half on?  I wish ME3 was good, but it isn't, regardless of what the gamespot review generator tells you.

You can't reason with irrational people... they're going to keep making the same mistakes regardless of how much sense our criticism makes.

Also you can't force your personal subjective opinion to people with their own different opinion as OP many times tried in past.

I sympathize with the OP, I can't blame him about being critical, even in such an early stage.

The rest of this thread makes me feel sick though.

I can blame him for being a chicken little and proclaiming the sky is falling over literally no new information being presented.

And also for pretendin and arguing about something he has no clue about with people who actually do, and constantly insisting they're wrong with no evidence.

He was acting like david, only against bioware instead of for it.

David isn't always for BioWare, he just picks his battles very carefully.

And like I said, I sympathize with him. He's just worried, and I can't blame him for that. He still loves Mass Effect despite what happened in 3 and doesn't want to see it be butchered even more.

I know, but come on? ME3 will be a FPS based off it's game engine? Quality of the game will go down because the game engine is too pretty? He should know better than that.

There's being worried, and than there's just foolishness.

Especially considering what engine Unreal is. And how ME 1-3 used it.

From what I've seen, he attacks a lot of the stupidity that goes on around here... Shows how much of that there is I suppose. But in fairness, I rarely agree with him. Can't fault him for his opinion though.

Sure, but who writes and edits TVTropes, though?
