I just can not see how they can make sequel to the Shepard story.

Who will get to decide which of the Reaper endings will be the main story of any Mass Effect 4?

If there is to be a Mass Effect 4 then it should be a reboot of Mass Effect 3 or a part 2 to the ME 3 story. If it was to a reboot or a second part of ME 3 then it should be on the PS3/Xbox 360 generation and NOT on this awful next generation of consoles.

If I were a betting man ... and I'm not ... I would say that the next Mass Effect will take place in the same Universe but have nothing to do with Reapers/Shepard. Nothing. No reference at all.

I don't know ME 1 and 2 were fairly good. Some of the DLC for ME 2 let it down

Bioware should care. Which is why I was shocked when they anounced a new Mass Effect game. I was certain they would have decided to shelve this IP for a few years.

If they don't make a clean break this wound is going to fester.

Baldur's gate had no import process, heck they leaned on teh fourth wall with some of the dialogue chocies about possible dead chracters

KOTOR they caught hell over canonizing Revan and the Exile, I'd hope they'd learned from that

Dragon Age had a similar reaction to retconning events in the game and its epilogues.

Canonizing this stuff did not help Bioware's image

Baldur's gate I do not recall, Kotor 2 was not made by bioware, Drqgon age did not canonize anythkng but then again I did not play DA2.....

also, sure, but I am going to laugh and make them notice

it's a lie.ME1 is mediocre at best.The combat is horrible,the characters are all boring blah blah.It has a decent plot,i admit,but it's not enough to justify the 89 metascore.I've played many indie games that are way better than ME1

ME2 has better combat but it's horribly written

ME3 is the only game a hardcore gamer can enjoy
