Gold exclusively. Silver if a friend wants to and Plat only when I'm forced to.
Yep, couldn't have said that better. Gold is the place to go.
Silver for lvl1 Chars, I dislike Platinum, its just Creditfarming.

Pretty much only gold... if I play at all, anyway. I think I get in about 4 games a week.

Mostly gold because it's more fun. Platinum is just a random mess that gets annoying after 1 game for me, plus I like to keep factions actually unique.
Well, that's if I'm playing at all anyway, which I'm not... :/

I'm the other way around. Plat pugs are trivial because they're either Rio box, Giant Reapers and/or missile glitchers. Waste of time.
Hence why I posted U/U/P....you know....UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN.
I run my own lobbies...I don't play Rio/Giant Reapers and every glitcher gets kicked. We have a high success rate.

I prefer platinum, but end up with Gold because pugging platinum can get exhausting.

Most are playing gold it seems. Do any of you gold grinders find it too easy, or is it still challenging? I've just found that with every 100 hours that goes by, skill becomes better and better and now I find gold to be a bit too easy when you have 3 other people meatbagging it.

I remember my transition from silver to gold -- very tentative entry with only a few characters. Now that describes my entry into plat matches. I've become more confident (& successful) in gold. So yeah, experience has changed my perspective.

Gold with the occasional silver if I just promoted. If a host changes it to plat I generally won't leave, but that's about it for me and plat.

I chill in silver a lot but mostly because I am too lazy to play on Gold and Plat most of the time.

Silver mostly, some gold. I would play more gold, but my internet sucks, and I get far more frustrated with losing my connection mid gold game than silver.

Nothing but U/U/P. Working my up from Bronze to Platinum was the best part of the game for me. As of now: I play Platinum for the challenge, credits, and most importantly the fun!

OP has a valid point though. It's a shame if bronze and silver players lurk.
Granted I took a long time to come onto the MP forum (and I lurked for 2 years before I signed up to the BSN; and even then I only went on the character forums - I was probably already on gold before I came onto the MP forum).
Being on bronze or silver is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Forget all the people who say 'lolbronze!' etc - what they forget is that everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - started out on bronze one time or another (even in the demo).
We all play the same game, so everyone has something to contribute.

I posted in the "how many players over 1000 hours" thread as well, but I still play a mix of silver and gold. Gold is a better fit, and now that I'm finally done with the flippin promotions for the challenge I don't think I'll spend much time in silver anymore.
That being said, I still find myself capable of prodigious failure in silver from time to time, whereas I tend to be more "on my game" in gold. Weird...
