 and it was completely by accident!

I dropped into a really good random Pug's lobby in the 2nd wave Reapers/Giant. No one joins us until the 9th wave and when the third person gets in he/she leaves immediately. Leaving just me and the random alone again to attempt to finish off the game.

We're doing quite well so far, helping each other out, wave 10 comes and it's targets. We complete em and by now I have 1 gel left and two rockets. Extraction comes and the host drops immediately, by now I'm starting to get giddy and praying that no-one joins me! I drop back in and I have everything back, just survive, survive and I do!!! So thank you servers and good ol' Irish luck for giving me my first gold solo!

A cool story bro you better believe it!

I did my first solo accidentally on condor I think... No one would join the match because of lolcondor.

Didn't they make it so it wouldn't count if you didn't start the game as a solo and completed all waves while soloing?

There was a discussion about this like 8 months ago and the devs said it wouldn't count in the N7HQ.

I checked my N7HQ straight after that game and it says I have one gold solo in the bag, this is hilarious!

I'm just a simple unfrozen caveman lawyer... how was this a solo? Did it actually give you credit for one for Solo Mastery via some glitch?

It shouldn't, but I guess it does because of the host migration.

That is how it was supposed to work.

The only glitch I actually remember hearing about when challenges first appeared was the one where you could die on Wave 1 I think it was and it still gave it to you.

If it said full extraction and not lone wolf I don't see how the game could tell the difference.. anyways this is almost full on legit cause it wasn't planned.. congrats. Now that you have the solo bug you can go caineghis on this games ass.

Strange. I had something similar before and it was a Mission Failure even though I extracted. Anyway, congrats!

Soloing is quite easy once you get the hang of it.  Just did my first Platinum solo with the Volus Vanguard - melee all the way.
