Hey Crimson, I've been working on a EZ-Mode Gold Solo video (kroguard melee, no shooting). I've shared my method with friends and they've managed to kick gold solo's butt (: would that be useful?

I've been advised by pals who like to solo to pick Kroguard/Geth/Giant, a straight-forward choice. So when I attempt it for real I'll go this route. Also just melee eh, that's different, why?

Kroguard does MASSIVE melee damage, especialy if specced correctly, and if you use the shotgun omniblade and a strength enhancer. The other side of this is biotic charge refilling your shields and keeping you alive, so I find it advantageous to have my cooldown at 200%. You are NOT getting that with the Reeger, certainly not with the omniblade. The only way you'll get that is with the Disciple.

So I do that. Disciple with omniblade, strength enhancer and cyclonic mod. My kroguard is specced for max melee damage, skipping carnage (there some other useful things, like biotic charge hitting multiple targets and refilling shields).

Then you just charge, heavy melee, heavy melee. Rinse, repeat. Really the only thing you have to worry about is #$%^& Geth bombers as they will stunlock the hell out of you. Just try not to get cornered. And don't use that one controller where triangle doesn't always work...

I just did a game like that and I died once from being swarmed and once from biotic charge failure. And then I embarrassingly died on extraction because I was not paying attention..


Oh, Giant is a great choice, but really any open map where the jerks can't hide and there aren't any small corners. People looove Glacier but it is REALLY easy to get swarmed there, and doing devices can be hellish.

Congrats on your solo. I was thinking about giving you hints for a Kroguard/Reegar/Glacier/Geth run but I doubt I could tell you anything you didn't already know. So I just wish you good luck with your next attempt. :happy:

Part two- My second gold solo tonight and BOTB at last!

I achieved my second gold solo tonight and yup it happened again but this time in jrob6 a pal of mine's lobby. I took him up on his invite, he had a final spot open as he was playing with his own friends. I just finished a gold Pug so I hopped into his lobby.

jrob set our first game to Reapers/London and all was going well until one of his friends kept disconnecting from the game, this happened twice. No prob I was told he was having internet issues all day. I was playing with my adept smashbro btw.

So we get to wave 10 targets and rockets are flying everywhere, jrob's pal rejoins but then jrob gets disconnected! We have to start the wave again, so I get back into the game and jrob's pals are gone too! Seeing a great opportunity to finally get my second gold solo completed all I had to do was take out the targets and hope to god I'd survive. Now with all my rockets and gels back I took out the targets, all banshees and finished the wave, just survive now Crim survive!!!

And I did, behold the most poxy BOTB BSN'r here,





I didn't plan this, the first time this happened I lol'd what a fluke but lightning hitting twice, luck of the Irish aww hell yeah!!!! xD

I want to thank jrob for this gift as I was gonna watch Netflix but when he sent me the invite I decided not too.



Thank you sooo much for that hard freeze. Which I found out after I told you about you helping me accidentally achieving my BOTB banner when I rejoined your lobby again. I'm eternally grateful, and thank you terribad EA servers once again!

I got two gold solos done by accident, this is goddamn hilarious what are the odds! xD
