Oh, thank you!! This proves I'm not mad and Fenris is innocent on that subject.

With all this conversation about Fenris now I'm sad again because the Exalted March expansion was cancelled. I'll never get over the fact I could've spent more time with Hawke and her companions but then they decided to focus on DA:I. This game better be good.

I can't even believe David actually compaired the romantic elements with Twilight on that thread. The series was dreadfully aweful, and it should not be used as an example for true romanace.

I rather walk to the Gallows and plead with the Knight-Commander and the First enchanter to make me tranquil rather than to sit for 1 min and watch Twilight... which by the way had severe bad acting on top it off.

I think Gaider was just teasing.

I mean after all, we aren't the ones that write the romances. So, if the romances are like Twilight....

But really Gaider just seemed like he was having sum fun.

Gaider is the only one that pops in the BSN kinda regular. Not as often anymore. They're busy, I'm sure. But I haven't seen Epler; Laidlaw in forever!, Not even Allan, or Cam and Blair.

Last time I saw Allan was after the E3 trailer. And ppl were just acting like high-maintenance lil geeks. So, I can't blame them for taking off.

Ah, but it's still nice when devs brave the "herd of rabid cats" that is the BSN. Lol! (Karin Weekes said that Occasionally dealing w/the writers is like "herding rabid cats".) So funny, but it also reminded me of BSN.

I don't know about the writers for the Dragon age staff, but I find it quite hard to write a half way decent fan fiction when I have all of this distraction around me. I need peace and quiet so I can focus on thinking and writing. Spending time on forums is a distraction, and I'm sure writers like David can agree with me. While I would LOVE to have the staffs be active on this forum... I rather see it go for the quality of products that they produce to the public.

I sincerely feel the same way.  I waited on pins and needles for the expansion. I was absolutely crushed when they announced they were halting all production on DA2 DLC and expansion. I knew that Hawke and Fenris' story was truly over then. All I can hope for is that I'll fall in love with DA:I's characters as much as I did these guys.

I Personally hope that Fenris comes back, I thought not just his character but his background were really good. Also with his Lyrium tattoo's he does seem a bit more... Intriguing then some of the other characters. That also might become something important in the next one. ah~ I really hope he comes back as a companion... if he doesn't I will cry.

Im just scared of some kind of Thane-outcome where us who loves Thane feels screwed over. :/ It is a narrow path to meet LI in DA:I . That being said, in my sweetest dreams I wish Fenris shows up hand in hand with my Hawke. Because I love them so much
I will be sad if Fenris has abandon him... At least we will need an reasonable explanaition.

Thats sums up my feeling excactly. I was so sad when the DLC was cancelled because I was dying for some Fenris/Hawke action. It´s a shame so many people hated the game.... And my biggest concern is that I won´t like any of the new companions as much. But I did fall in love with Thane in ME as well. So hopefully they make some decent eyecandy awesomeness with sexy dark voice in DA:I.
Rest of DA:I is soo exciting. Unfortunaly I have to be a little obsessive about my characters LI to truly love the game and replay it several times. It was a bummer in ME3 for me...

The whole reason I gave Fenris back to Danarius was so that I'd never have to see him again, so no thanks.

That's sad. the lines at the end from a romanced Fenris.... *sigh* is something my husband would say....so to me Fenris (in that resepct) was perfect.

And I was crushed also when I heard the expansion was being cancelled.

DA2 to DA:I would have been perfect for an expansion.....

I loved Fenris's character (or maybe it was just the sexy hair). He reminded me of Morrigan with that emotional armour that you have to smash through. Please Bioware bring him back!!!

It would only be fair if they cover fate of all companions or bring them in some sort of cameo. Otherwise it would be unfortunate to people with other… tastes.

Yeeeeaaahh... I feel you. I could not get into the ME series' companions, playing as a straight female. 

I really would love DA2 dlc regarding Fenris. They halted production, but maybe they'll go back to it after they've released DA:I.


However, I wouldn't mind DA:I dlc for Fenris, even if Hawke's not there.

Why would they release DLC for Dragon Age 2 after Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming out? That really does not make sense

I merely handed him over to Danarius with my blood sorceress to

1) score bonus-points with a high-ranking Tevinter official

2) not help him break up his Faustian bargain. He got out of that what he wanted - gaining his mother and sister freedwomen status - he pays the price for that.


I wouldn't be averse to a cameo, but if it took ransoming him back to his master into account, that would be splendid indeed.

There's a lack of DLC for those of us who like the male companions.

They had a follow up DLC all for finding Morrigan.
They had a prequel DLC featuring Leliana. 
They had an entire DLC dedicated to Tallis, as well as Shale.
Those are four female companions. 

Fenris DLC ftw.

Oh please, don't get me wrong, I'm on your side about male companions.  I just find it will be a bit unfair if they bring back Fenris only and no others.

*Sight* I am probably the only one anyway who is iterested in what happened to Keran (if spared).

Yes but both Oghren, Anders and now Varric got to be in two games as companions. No female companion has ever returned to help us again.
