If Bioware is was going to allow polyamory then there should be consequences. For example one or more partners get jealous because the PC is spending more time with another partner or favors another partner more. The jealous party members leave. The PC would have to find a way to get back in the party members good graces.

If the disgruntled party member is place in the party emotions will boil over to the point that the certain party members begin to fight. Party members will leave the party permanently like Isabela in DA2.
I would not mind seeing that complex interaction. But if there are no consequences then I can do without it.

It probably will be eventually introduced into the Dragon Age universe, even if maybe you won't have the option to practice it yourself.

You seem to be working from an assumption of monogamy as a normal state of affairs, which isn't true in all cultures.

Actually I am looking at a more real life situation from the program called Sister Wives in which some of the sisters left do to various reasons that were outlined in the show. I know fully well that other cultures do not hold to monogamy, but that does not mean that the same conflicts cannot exist where a member leaves the group. I am also looking at Bioware games other than JE.

I personally don't mind how many people the protagonist gets to sleep with I don't think polygamy is something DA should allow. Not so much because I am against it personally but DA gets enough negative attention because it allows same gender romance I don't want to bring more excuses for the bible thumpers to give it a hard time.

You're just making stuff up now. Only a very smal minority believe you'll go to hell for that. I've had discussions of polygamy in many churches.
