I actually like some of the fan-made possibilities of Tali's face before the stock photo. And even the untextured face behind the mask in-game suggests a typical symmetrical humanoid face. So I see no reason why she wouldn't be attractive.

In a way Tali's a much better surrogate romance than any other character because you could imagine any face you wanted under there.

I believe she is the only squadmate that effects all enemies(armor, shields and barriers)

In ME2 she was. That uniqueness is lost in ME3. EDI and Kaidan I know can hit everything.

At least in ME3 (in the Arena), Miranda is without a doubt the most multipurpose squadmate. She retains all of her ME2 powers (minus Slam) and gains the ability to tank via Reave.

Well, she was before the whole stock photo debacle. And some people are ignoring that anyway.

It's not an extreme view at all. I have no need to really justify my preferences in taste and desired traits for women.

Have you never read Shelley? Love is about more than ethnicity. If an attractive half-hispanic girl loved you, would you honestly say "I'm sorry, I'm only attracted to caucasian females preferably of English speaking origin"?

I'll be honest, I don't find photo-Tali to be attractive at all. Her fingers look uncanny, and the Na'vi-esque lines are off-putting to me. Her lack of visible pupils doesn't win her any points either (how do her eyes absorb light?). The biggest offender are her ears. Judging by that photo, they straighten out to a point, like an elf.

I just want to see more Kasumi (and better content for her too, not the fail we currently have).

Hair I'm a tad wary of. Historically, female hair in ME hasn't been the greatest. I wouldn't want a recycled mesh (say from Ashley) just copy-pasted. But a unique or uncommon hairstyle would be sweet.

Yes, I probably would say that. The issue is, I would never let myself get close enough to a non-white girl to where she might reach that point with her feelings.

No love lost if there was never any there to begin with. I'm not hurting anyone doing what I do. If I am, I suggest they stop stalking me and seek help.

Yes, love is more than ethnicity. She needs to be intellectually stimulating as well, very intelligent, not prone bouts of overly emotional displays, etc.

She also needs to be white.

Because the photo was terribly photoshopped. The facial markings, glowy eyes and analogue ears(they're not pointed, but far smaller and differently shaped) are canon however, with all Quarian females.

I would envision Kasumi with shorter hair.

Probably something similar to Maya, from Borderlands 2.

Why?

Does the fact that I am only attracted to white women bother you? If so, why? Am I not allowed to have my own preferences and feelings? Am I not allowed to have my own standards? My desires for traits and characteristics in women?

You need to cut out he mind projection fallacy boss. Your view of the world isn't the only view.

That's pretty appropriate. Though I prefer long hair on women in general, a style like that suits Kasumi I think.

I have nothing against you. Don't misinterpret my position.

I don't begrudge anyone of their preferences or standards or whatever.

You can't tell a person who to fall in love with. Any person, straight, bi, gay, lesbian, etc. Each and everyone of them is free to love whomever they desire.

Yet you're judging me because I'm telling you who I can't fall in love with.

I think that's a bit unfair to me.

You're going a bit further than simply stating preferences though.

You seem to be actively ruling out even the possibility of non-Caucasian unions at all points in time, and that comes of as something of a self-fulfilling prophecy. If that's true, it goes beyond just what you're attracted to (which is not in your control) into the realm of conscious discrimination, which you do have control over.

Just how it seems from over here. I won't get into this further.

That's an in-game feature though. Quarians have glowing, pupil-less Night Elf eyes in-game.

If you happen to fancy someone of a particular ethnicity, that's one thing. "Love happens". "Sh!t happens", rather. But to make hard rules beforehand about it deserves to be judged. You're basically writing off billions of people regardless of behavior and just on what skin color they have. You're telling them no matter they do, they can't do anything right in your eyes. And you talk about fairness?

I'm not ruling out anything.

I don't see where I'm saying that other people can't have whatever union they want to have at all with whoever they want their partner to be.

She also lacks pupils in the photo.

Night Elves at least have "they're magic" as to why they're eyes don't have pupils (but then again, Nelfs DO have pupils, the magic glow just obscures them).

Yeah, I just wanted to say I don't think that particular detail should be held against the photoshopped picture. It's a lazy picture, but they do keep the general appearance consistent I think.

Of course, I'd have liked this Tali better.
