It's called a time out ... war will commence in just a few minutes.

I came to this thread expecting another hilarious Miranda War, and instead found people discussing their sexual preferences and relationship status.

Even for a BSN thread, this is weird.

Wtf is going on here.

Why would anyone care if the users of any forum are single or not, WTF

I just know David is going to try to make an objective argument out of something here.

I'm surprised he hasn't tried to make some deep-seated armchair psychology remark yet.

The problem is that the responses may or may not have been genuine.

I may be waiting on that phone call from Monica Bellucci (any day now) but did IntelligentME3Fanboy really break up with his supermodel boyfriend? Posted Image

Yeah, I just find the picture failworthy because of the laziness. That alone makes me sad. Heh.. Nothing wrong with the general look.

Isn't Tali's appeal not in her appearance, making her a supermodel was very unnecssary IMO

Well, according to Javik all Quarians are very attractive. Quarians used to be renowned for thier beauty, unitl everyone forgot what they looked like under those suits.

Javik is a Fish/Bug-person, you should probably take that into account. I somehow doubt the same things are considered attractive between humans and Protheans, given that they have no common physical traits.

Two arms, two legs and a butt. That's something in common.

Protheans do not have butts. Butts are for primitives.

Apparently, the Asari thought so too. Now if the Asari think your species is beautiful...

Yes, I probably would say that. The issue is, I would never let myself get close enough to a non-white girl to where she might reach that point with her feelings.

No love lost if there was never any there to begin with. I'm not hurting anyone doing what I do. If I am, I suggest they stop stalking me and seek help.

Yes, love is more than ethnicity. She needs to be intellectually stimulating as well, very intelligent, not prone bouts of overly emotional displays, etc.

She also needs to be white.

I have a feeling this comment will get featured the next time a site like SomethingAwful does one of their "Best of the BSN" stories.

I guess it's appropriate that the site is called "SomethingAwful", considering the high levels of snide jerkassery in that article. Not by the BSN posts, mind you, but by the authors. It's people like those who I wish would get cancer.

Let's put it this way:

When it comes to love, I'm not equal opportunity.

It'd be like swimming in the Sea of Cortez and getting snagged by a humboldt squid that thinks you're pretty.

Not judging, but this is how I view Human/Asari relationships as.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Ehhh...

What is this thread? Personally, I don't romance Miranda because she looks like a genetically modified beaver, but hey, as you said Massive, beauty is in the eye of the beholder... eh?

Then you shouldn't have a problem with Human/Quarian relationships. The look similar, they have the same sexual dimorphism, the same body functions and no tentacles are involved. Except that they can't reproduce, there's no problem whatsoever.

Asari at least have a human-looking body (read: not humanoid, but visually identical in shape to an actual human). Aside from the heads, asari literally may as well be blue-skinned humans.

I've already said what I find off-putting about photo-Tali (and by extension, other quarians).

My first choice would be a human, but if I had to be paired with an alien from ME, it would be an asari.

Honestly, I think the whole fascination (hyperbole) with xenophilia in science fiction is overrated.

Quarians have bent lower legs, glowy eyes and less fingers. They have nearly identical faces(more concave), hair, skin, bodies and other organs. I just don't get what's 'revolting' about them.
