OP - Silver solo is a sign that you know spawns and how to survive in a crutch situation whilst still dealing acceptable amounts of damage. You should be Gold ready by now but ofcourse there's still little things to get used to such as the health pool and damage increases aswell as the game itsels being sped up and shieldgate being 90% instead of 75.
Shield gate is easy enough dealth with on "OHKO" non-pellet kits (3 shots or snipers, Executioner, Crusader) by using Disruptor or Phasic rounds (would recommend Phasic but for the Javelin and Widow, Disruptor can work well). You're biggest downfall in your first few games will be miscalculating flanks. Pyros, Dragoons, Banshees and Praetorians move faster and will deal alot more damage whilst being tougher to take down, they aren't something you want on the opposite side of you whilst dealing with the other half of the spawn. The increase in game speed could lead to them flanking you quicker than expected.
Generally the toughest thing will be what you already know: dealing with multiple Phantoms, bosses or Geth or a mook deathsquad efficiently. Remember to use Right-Hand Advantage (if the enemies gun hasn't got an angle on you it won't fire, this allows you to make better use of soft-cover), Reload Cancel (I'm sure everyone knows this already) and side-strafing (self-explanatory) to maximise damage dealt whilst minimising damage taken. Knowledge of
power combos aswell as understanding
how powers work (namely
Tac Cloak will help a lot with the transition and general gameplay tactics.
These might help too if you don't already know:
