Imagine two Marauders standing next to eachother. One is primed, the other is not. If I choose the radius evo will it detonate primed targets that it didn't 'hit' but affected? Like if I cast throw on the one that isn't primed, but the radius evo still affects the primed one.

I hope I'm being clear...

Pretty sure that's a yes, unless my mind's been playing tricks on me all this time. I've just reminded myself of a song I need to listen to.

If I'm reading this correctly, you're asking if two primed enemies can be detonated with one use of a throw with radius evolution. From what I've read, the amount of explosions that can be detonated, tech or biotic, is limited by the amount of projectiles that come from you. So I'm thinking the answer is no, you won't get 2 biotic detonations. Shockwave on the other hand is capable of causing multiple detonations because it functions kind of like a pulsing projectile, causing multiple hits along the way.

Yes, it'll blow up the primed one, and knock back the other one if it's within range (you probably won't notice it, though, the BE force will stagger it more).

Unless you're asking if you'll get two biotic explosions, in which case the answer is no.

The answer would be yes, if it actually WAS working as intended.

No, what I'm asking is if one primed enemy is standing next to an un-primed one and I cast throw specced for radius on the non primed one, will it detonate the primed one if it's close enough to be afffected by throw?

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a class with both Reave and Throw and both are picked for radius? Imagine those explosions! Even better then Reave + Cluster Nades all day long!

I don't think we were ever intended to detonate something that is not primed, no matter the radius.

I think Slim has it right.

Yes. The answer is definitely yes. I've done it countless times.

This was my dream for a while. Reckoning was my final hope, and I was left disappointed.

Throw only detonates 1 explosion. Now if we had reave and double throw...

Reave + Shockwave would be killer.  Ever since the beginning of MP, I have always said that I wanted a Sentinel with Tech Armor, Reave, and Shockwave.  When I first started posting that, people said it was OP, that the combination of high DR and multiple BE's would break the game.  Now that we have characters like the AIU with infinite lives, the TGI with infinite ops packs, and the Fury with rapid biotic explosions and proximity staggering, I think that the "game breaking" ability of that combo was vastly overrated.

It would be less OP than Reave + Cluster Grenade is, since Clusters can get 3 BEs from a single throw and hit harder than the BE does against a primed target.

If you could manage to get triple BEs with every Shockwave(it would be really tricky. It is even with Clusters) then it would be better than the Fury's machine gun BEs, though.

Well yeah, Grenade Gear was pretty game breaking too.  Reave+Clusters has always been good. but 5 extra grenades make it ridiculous.

Also, forgot to mention the new Singularity + Shockwave, which can also get multiple BE's.

That would be my favorite character in the game, and it's no where near OP considering the other stuff in this game.

I thought it would have been kind of cool on the Justicar. Pull/Reave for long distance detonations, Pull/Shockwave for extremely strong detonations, and Reave/Shockwave for consistent detonations.
