My choice Is probably Liara I mean she has her moments when theres emphisis on her words and has emotion but it just seems bland and boring ex: "sorry about tali, shepard" liara dos'nt sond like she gave a damn that tali died, personally if asked I think Meer and Hale did a excellent job both of them are equal

Any Elcor... for good reason.

Probably Liara, but I don't find it to be a flaw. I like her soothing voice quite a bit.

ME3 Liara.

I don't know why, but it just sounds like Ali Hillis is trying to inhale and talk at the same time. It's especially noticeable when you talk to her in her cabin, when she says "I can only wonder how you do it".

Maybe she was trying to sound less like Lightning, lol.

Edit: Inb4 Mark Meer.

I'd personally say the only person who's voice acting was truly sub-par was Allers.

Allers. It wasn't voice acting, chobot was just reading the script, nothing more.

 Liara, ofc.

They clearly want to make her sound all "mystical" and ish, but it sounds BAD... raspy and monotone. So grating.

I just want my Shepard to say "get that c**** out of your mouth, stupit asari."

Sorry. Sheploo puts me to sleep.

I don't hate on Meer though. He still does the Vorcha, and Vorcha are glorious.

Or if Javik suggested throw her out the airlock I would listen:D

Gawd no they're so annoying.

But yes, even though Male Shep has the most boring and bland voice acting in all of the games combined, Mark is pretty good on other characters.

How is Mark Meer boring he did bad in me1 but I would give him the upper hand In mass effect 2 and 3 Imean I don't mean to start a argument but when me2 and 3 came out hale kinda got monotone. Not really trying to start a argument though. I think she did well in Metroid Prime , Metal Gear Solid, and Halo 4

"Which character do you think has the most bland/boring voice acting?" ...

Mass Effect 3 had an amazing cast of voice actors and this is even more highlighted when you play other games out there. Bioware and a few other gaming companies have really worked on raising the VO bar and it shows.

In my opinion, Bioware did an amazing job on the voice actors ... Posted Image

There were instances where a voice actor seemed to pale compared to others such as Jessica Chobot (Diane Allers). Granted, she was pretty inexperienced when put up next to actors like Jennifer Hale. But even she had a moment where I thought she did well ... speaking about her (Diane's) home planet being destroyed. The break in her voice was spot on in that moment. And while I thought she paled in comparison to others, she did a better job than I probably would have in her shoes.

There were also times that a response choice was applied that didn't fit ... Mark Meer's "Steeeeeeeeve" comes to mind. But that was in the editing and not on the actor. They do multiple versions of a line and it is within another process that the reading of that line is chosen. Once again, "Steeeeeeeeve" comes to mind and I love how Mark Meer talks about it.

But overall, the voice acting is pretty solid and the voiceover director Caroline Livingstone did a great job at guiding these guys. No complaints here.

It's hard for me to judge someone with so many lines of dialogue, and with many difrerent responses in any given dialogue sequence. If you're recording multiple lines with varying tones, and not playing off another actor in real time, it's bound to be hit and miss.

I recorded, I don't know how many bazillion lines for the KOTOR mod, Brotherhood of Shadow. I didn't have anyone to play off, and it's not easy.

Allers is obvious. I can understand affectating the cadence of a news reporter, but the way she announces the death of millions as if she's reading a grocery list? Awful. Just awful.

From the main cast, I have to give my vote to Liara. I like the VA's voice a lot, but Liara sounded very sedated through most of the game.

EDIT:

Garrus' oohing aahing and sighing got old 2 mins in.

?  Is this a missing bedroom sequence I'm unaware of?
