You leave Marina Sirtis alone! Anyway, Benezia was given corny lines. It didn't even matter who was her VA at that point.

Totally forgot about Benezia.

Wow, was that a bad performance! To be fair the character was terribly written as well, and even the best actors would have struggled with that dialogue. But still, Martina Sirtis was dialing it in.

Lol Tali's cool.  I like her nerdy side.  I like what she's trying to do for her people.

Liara hands down. But it's not just in Mass Effect,Hilis is terrible in Final Fantasy too
Diana Allers was terrible too,but at least Chobot isn't even a voice actor,so it's no surprise

Liara, but not because Hillis is a bad voice actor. On the contrary, I feel that Hillis' talents went criminally underused

If she was concerned about the light, I would have been happy to provide a muzzle flash as last thing she ever saw.

That was Meer's best scene in the entire series. Objectively, I thought they were dead even on it. Meer was louder and naturally has a deeper voice. Louder and deeper does not mean better. The volume issue could have been compensated easily with higher compression ratio on Hale and a little more makeup gain, but it wasn't necessary. I know these tricks I mix audio.

And there is a difference between a woman's delivery and a man's delivery. You're a male. You might respond better to a man's delivery. I'm a woman. I respond better to a woman's delivery.

I was moved more by Hale's delivery on that, sorry.

I thought Meer's nasally Canadian accent came out a bit in ME1, but he got more deep in ME3. He eventually seemed like a fairly believable grunt/soldier type. Although the writing could get repetitive at times.. like saying "Noted" or "Keep sharp" a lot.

I was wondering how Sirtis was doing delivering those lines.... like what was she doing to avoid laughing her ass off.

I agree that this was one of Meer's best moment, but in comparison to Hale, it's difficult to pinpoint any key moments that make her stand out more to me, but overall, I found the nuances/inflections in her voice during other points in the dialogue throughout the trilogy better to listen to than Meer's.

Who is raging? It's just a difference of opinion, and no one is saying anything is perfect. This is just like those Youtube clowns that beat against any support for femShep. On the other hand, this kind of nonsense only makes me support the character all the more.

I've never even played a FemShep. I can't even make a comparison. I just judge Meer in isolation.
