Some people are saying oddball things about this gun... like throwing it away, or the Executioner is better.
Gun is for basic humanoid targets that get the real headshot bonus. Don't use it on the large bullet sponges, that seems pretty simple to me. You can run CSMG or Hurricane for armor. If you are deadset on "only a single gun" then pick something else. It isn't as if this is any worse than doing something silly like going Acolyte only.
Run it on anything with abnormal weapon damage passives or damage boosts.
Turian Soldier, Quarian Marksman w/ Hurricane as backup
Human Soldier with Hurricane
Any infiltrator
Drell
Works ok on other characters.

The suppressor is awful against bosses since it doesn't get to use it's full headshot multiplier against them.ISHYGDDT wrote...

Weakness against bosses is irrelevant, since those are what your tech powers are for.
Tech based kits have powers such as incinerate, which decimate armour, and overload, which wipe out shields and barriers in a hurry.
Bosses consist of nothing BUT armour, shields, and barriers.
There's also the small matter of tech bursts, fire explosions, and cryo explosions to take into account.
A well played engineer can wreck a boss in fairly short order without firing a single bullet, meaning the engineer doesn't really miss the anti-boss dps that a more BSN-approved gun would give him as much as many of the other classes would do.
Its obviously sub-optimal on platinum, which consists of almost nothing BUT bosses.
Platinum is the realm of Hurricane + acolyte on almost all casters, with lancer on most of the others.
Remember that most players play on gold, silver, or bronze, where there are frequently more weak enemys on screen than powers are capable of killing single-handedly, making a lightweight anti-mook weapon a potentialy much more attractive option.
Especialy to those who crave a little variety.

The executioner is only superior IF either:capn233 wrote...

A/ you need a featherweight sniper rifle.
(due to the better accuracy)
B/ you are using stasis to lock your target in place.
(due to stasis breaking after a certain damage threshold is reached, since a warp ammo equiped executioner can go way past this threshold due to being a one-shot handcannon)
If neither of these apply, then I agree with the capn, the suppressor is the better mook killer.

Use it on kits with Stasis for easy headshots. I would suggest trying it on the Asari Vanguard - the gun works great on Gold but its not so good on Platinum. I usually take the hurricane as a side-arm to deal with boss units.
