Hello, people! I'm a new user to this site, so, I am Wolfeight as you must have already read.

The reason I have come to you, the community of Neverwinter Nights 2, is because I need your help.

Just recently I got a chance to get my hands on NWN2 again and I want to play it again but this time with mods. I have searched qite a bit for good mods that could enhance my gameplay without conflicting with the game's lore. I found a few that caught my eye but I fear that they may be incompatible with one another if I ran them all at the same time.

Here are the mods I've found so far that interest me:

Tonyk's Companion and Monster AI v2.2
Reeron's Spell Fixes and Improvements v6.06
Kaedrin's PrC Pack v1.42.1
Drammel's Tome of Battle: The Book of the Nine Swords v1.142
ChainsawXIV's The Complete Craftsman and Jake Zahn's Patch & Rebalance for the former v1.175
gaoneng's The Player's Handbook
Charlie's UI v1.45
Charlie's Item Appereance Changer v1.06

Those are some of the ones I am considering. I am also thinking on adding another that I think is called npc roster or something.

Anyway, I hope you guys can help me with this dilemma I'm facing right now.

TonyK's, Charlie's UI and Item App Changer should work fine together. Likewise the roster mod, probably, though without a specific name I couldn't be completely sure.

You should also be able to add any ONE of the others, but those others will all clash with each other, modifying overlapping files. Kaedrin's, in particular, is immense and at least touches on most aspects of the game.  You will have to do some merging of 2da files, at least, and probably some selecting of scripts as well.

I see. I had suspected it would not be as easy. I remember seeing some mods that are actually combined haks including these very same ones. Unfortunately, most of them use outdated versions and/or are plagued wit bugs.

You are talking major work and learning.

Community Script Library (CSL) has a lot of work done in that regard, has an older kaedrins in it ( before he stopped permitting this, and pretty much i need to split out his stuff at this point due to that ), has tome of battle refactored, well everything refactored . But never got tome of battle finished enough so it works properly. And i am just not focused on working on it at the moment, as I've got bigger things to deal with, and I can't really distribute kaedrins latest changes in it anymore. But you might be able to use it as inspiration.

I also some wild mage support, ie the visuals and such, and have just about everything in the spell casting frame work, not to mention the Spell Compendium by Syrus Greycloak ( which was for NWN1 ), custom DMFI support and UI work.

Reerons fixes are mostly obsolete compared to what kaedrin has, he's got a lot of different choices then the default game, but mostly they are just different preferences, not sure they are critical. For the improvements, some of them are options I've set up in the CSL. Quite a few are just edits to 2da files to change sizes of things based on PNP books, not all of those make sense. I would personally just read what they are and implement anything you care about which should be 2da edits.
