When meeting Bailey for the first time in ME2 on Citadeli can choose to remain dead in their system, so I wounder if there will be any differences on the citadel or later in the game or in ME3 compared if I choose to let them show that I am alive?

I never found any difference. Maybe with AVINA? I didn't talk with her the one time I chose that option.

From what I recall, those decision options have no effect on anything outside of that decision.
