Its not that. On Gold I can comfortably hs stuff. On plat it's miss after miss because enemies are fadter.. ==

Pretty amazing, because it breaks shield gate.

All my Arcers carry it with a scope. It is probably the best mini SR along with Paladin.
The Arc head shots yield more damage than anything (maybe only Javein beats it) right?

The Arc head shot combined with AP arrows to the face is something only a handful of plat enemies can survive. This technique is brutaly effective but I die a lot more this way than with a good stagger stick. (Goes for the Talon merc)

Depends on whether you are using an infiltrator. With sniper-specced TC on an infiltrator, BW, widow and javelin all fare better than arc pistol (black widow is only slightly better..it's not all that noticeable even on an infiltrator).
On a non-infiltrator, I think only widow and javelin beat it. Technically, claymore can outdamage it but you need accuracy boost for claymore, and very few classes have access to that. So, I'd probably say only widow and javelin outdamage arc pistol in general, but the huge clip of arc pistol more than makes up for it.
Edit: Acc. to kalence, executioner can outdamage arc pistol (by a very small margin) but it is a single shot weapon too. So, arc holds the advantage.

I don't know, I can't see any advantage in doing that. Only Infiltrators, the Destroyer and GT would not care about the weight issue. On Infiltrators I'd probably rather use the BW. On the GT I would use the Arc Pistol only - maybe on the Destroyer.

awesome vid but why dont u use tgi instead? hes a turian w/ overload as well and you also get 180% of your 868 dmg. and a dodge.

It's doesn't matter what kit is used, the Arc Pistol is universally a great weapon on any character, on and off host.
