 Just got the game, tweaked with the graphics a bit, restarted the game, and all of a sudden-I can't see anything.No atari logo, no obsidian logo, no nvidia logo, and no title screen.I can still hear the music and all and can grope around in the dark for the options but the whole screen is still black. Also i can see the cursor. All i changed was the resolution.

Find your nwn2.ini, in Documents\\Neverwinter Nights 2, and open it in a text editor.

Look for the lines:
Width=1920
Height=1080

(Your numbers may be different)

Change the numbers to a resolution you know your monitor supports. Maybe 1280 width and 960 height for 4:3 monitors, or 1280 width and 720 height for widescreen.

ugh it didn't work, the nwn2.ini thingy said 1080 for width and 768 for height before i changed it:crying:

You could try deleting your nwn2.ini file entirely. The game should create a new one. Also, be sure you're doing this to the one in your Documents\\NWN2 folder, not the one in your Program Files\\NWN2 folder (or wherever it's installed).

if this happens in the future just manually change your .ini so that you won't lose all the other settings you've made. the error was the resolution of 1080x768, which doesn't exist. it's to be either 1920x1080 or 1024x768.
