I am living in France, and have a canadian version of Mass Effect 1 (NTSC, french version). I want to buy ME2 abd use my ME1 save, but it seems ME2 is not region free. Want would happened if I bought the PAL version ? Would it be possible to load my NTSC save ?

According to Videogamesplus.ca Mass Effect 2 is region free.
I live in the Netherlands, I also own the NTSC version of ME1, but I'm getting the PAL version of ME2, I hope I can import my save.
