I've had minor problems with the game crashing all along. I bought the Ultimate Edition on Steam and crashes seem par for the course. Lately I've finally gotten around to coming to Denerim and after a few quests there it crashes and all saves made inside Denerim crash on load, only a previous save I made in camp prior to coming to Denerim seems to load. This ismy 20th attempt to do Denerim and I cannot get past the market square. I have cut down on the number of quests I am doing to see if that helps. I may in fact try to skip all but the skeleton quests until I can come back (if I can get it to progress that far) and do then after I have made into the interior of Denerim.

I did not just come to complain however, I was hoping that if someone hit a similar problem they could share their fix if they found one? Running as Admin on Windows 7 64-Bit. I tried all the fixes I could find except removing all my mods (almost all are pure appearance mods) so I will take suggestions.

Thanks in advance if you can help! I will answer any questions you need on my rig or software. All drivers are up to date and the game is kept up to date by steam. All mods have been in use since the beginning of the game and haven't caused problems until now.

Make a save, then uncheck the mods in modsmanager, then forceload and see if you can enter,
then try them one at a time to see what is at fault
