So I have my profile page bookmarked and have no problem coming to it.  But every other day or so it seems like when I come to the forums I have to renter my info even though I have it set at "remember me."   I'm not doing anything on my end that should be causing this info to be forgotten.  This is a problem that has only been happening  the last week or so.

So what is going on?

It forgets username and password. I enter them and tell it to remember, but in a day or two it forgets again.

That sounds like a browser thing. Which one are you using?

IE8. No problems with other sites, though, just this one.

Go to Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete -> Settings and make sure the username/password checkbox second-to-last is checked. You may have to reset your autocompletion history as well.

That's all checked.  Like I said above, every other website I use is working just fine and remembering my username/password stuff when it should.   It's just this one that doesn't.  And note that I have no problem linking to the main page, it's only the forums that seem to forget who I am.

I have a similar trouble & IE8. I've tried to help the Devs track down & squash the problem, but failed.



Could there be a bug in the Site failing to cooperate with the AutoComplete?

If so it must have been introduced in a recent site update since I had no issue until the last week or so.

Is your problem that going to/browsing the forums logs you out intermittently/consistently? Because then I misunderstood and we do indeed have a few long threads with little progress already.

I've never been able to spot any pattern in the frequency of the occurences. In another thread, a suggestion was made to raise the Internet Options - Privacy slider to 'High' then add this Site to the Trusted List, & I did so & monitored for a few days. The result: My log-in loss frequency slowed down but hasn't stopped.

I have a simliar problem but it logs me out if I refresh a page, open a forum, go into a thread, anything that changes the page pretty much. Seems to come and go and like the OP it is only this website.
