For every single LI to be only romance-able by PCs of the same gender.
Simply to enjoy the sh*tstorm.

Wait...

I might be able to handle the all gay male Thedas if they looked like bearded Cassandra.
How is wanting all the characters to be gay men equivalent to being 10?Mike 9987 wrote...

The basis of the thread is blatant wish fulfillment. If BioWare announced a fantasy RPG set in Themscrya, I'd be as happy as a clam.

The problem with it is that if a straight male said the same thing about straight females and meant it, they'd get a sound drubbing from BSN and we both know it.

I could get down with a game inspired by Ancient Greek mythology.

Correction: To enjoy the sh*tstorm AND to see how all those protesting against player-sexuality would truly react.

I've said numerous times that if the characters were bi-sexual I would be alright with it, in a sense. But player-sexuality creates an inconsistency in the game world.

Who said anything about your FemHawke? Player-sexuality was being discussed.
I don't care if your FemHawke is gay or not. I DO care if characters who are otherwise straight suddenly want to tap that because it's the PC.

And why do you assume they are stright? As far as I know only a few
characters in the DA world are specifically spelt out as straight.
Sebastion being one I think.

I don't assume it, I determine it based on how they act in the game and their previous relationships.

So you can tell with all people how they act if they are bi? or gay? Just by how they act? Thats immpossible....there is no way to tell if someone is bi or gay by the way they act. Or sometimes you will find someone like my aunt. She was happily married to man all her adult life until he passed away. Dated only men afterwords. Had a few LTR. Then she met a woman who she fell in love with. She doesn't consdier herself bi or gay. She is straight who happened to fall in love with one particular woman, other than her, she has no attraction to other women. Past behaviour to NO indicator to future actions in these cases....period.

That's a fine example. Now tell me that happens to everyone.
It doesn't. But it does in the DA universe, which in my opinion harms characterization.
