Rereading the sentence, I can see the other meaning.  I took it for him saying that the man directed one movie only, and that he saw it as mostly pretty CGI visuals.

I'm beginning to worry if you read what I said at all, or perhaps you read what you, yourself, wanted me to say to corner me for no good reason. I'm in no mood for a mudfight with you, stranger, so let me just be clear again. I said that I found only "ONE MOVIE" from "Zack Snyder", that is "ONE MOVIE" out of "MANY OTHERS" that I found to be very, very good. :o

That movie was Watchmen - I felt the CGI action bollocks was at best non-existent/toned own -- It relied heavily more on character development and plot building. I have seen most of Snyder's recent films and I found them all to be very dull. His movies are at best one-time-popcorn-flicks or terribly dull like Sucker Punch, which is my impression. Anyway, I went over this in my earlier comment - This wasn't supposed to be a new commment, seperate from the rest, so go read those. I've provided all exposition I think I needed, so good day to you sir.

I really don't know what to think of the Affleck casting. I think he's a decent actor and a pretty good director, but Batman?! I'm not convinced just yet...

I'd have wished for a younger actor, more of the "unknown" sort (like Cavill), to help build the DC cinematic universe. Affleck imo is too well known a face, too big a name for the role I expected Batman to play in the MoS sequel, and he isn't an actor with a really huge range (based on what I saw of him). I'm looking forward to his potential influence on Snyder in terms of directing, but I'm afraid we won't think "wow, that's Batman!" but instead "well, that's Ben Affleck in a Batman suit".

But I'll try to keep an open mind and hope to end up being pleasantly surprised in 2015! :D

The Batman fans are aghast.
Well he was Daredevil.
Maybe if Jennifer Garner was in it it would mute some of the criticism.

To choose a guy who´s around his 40s they could have offered more money to Bale and keep the continuity. Watching him with Selina and little Helena would have been great.

I don´t like Affleck as an action movie actor, but I haven´t seen his more recent work. Has he improved since his Michael Bay days?

I just can't see Ben Affleck as Batman. IMHO a poor choise.

That said, I'm not holding my breath about a Superman/Batman movie. They're gonna have a tough time making it good, and Batman and Superman don't really mesh well in general.

One is a OP Invulnerable Mary Sue with nigh limitless power that fights cosmic horrors, the other is a "normal" (but practicly superhuman) vigilante that fights deranged clowns.

I'm with TheChris92, I'm afraid. I've never liked any of Zack Snyder's movies, and Man of Steel is no exception. That he is helming the Batman vs. Superman movie pretty much seals the movie's fate IMHO, and Ben Affleck will be the least of what will no doubt be many problems.

EDIT: Add Justin Bieber to the list of problems if that link above means anything.

He can touch whatever teenage fangirl he wants. But do not. In any circumstances, touch. THE. BATMAN. If JB ever gets his hands on the Arkham Games I hope they blow up his consoles.

Because batman.

Anyways... I really think they'll need to nerf Superman for this, which will ****** off a lot of Superman fans since he's been nerfed a million times before. Also, Batman will need to move a lot better than how he's done in the other movies. From Tim Burton to Christoper Nolan the dude has always seemed so stiff. I'm sure it's the suit, but c'mon! When Iron Man fights with more agility than Batman, you know you have a problem.

I think it's a bad move to make her a side character instead of giving WW her own movie

Oh god, so now this movie will be about three characters.... Might as well get the other members and call it Justice League now.

I honestly have no idea to expect from this film and i was super hyped when we found out about it. Just find a way for Russell Crowe to show up as Jor-El to put everyone in their place, lore be damned. He was my favorite character in Man of Steel.

I think their mimic The Avengers plan is missing the whole release several movies to lay down groundwork phase. At this point I find it hard to believe their goal is merely a Man of Steel sequel.

I wish I could get excited about this Wonder Woman news. Considering I've only liked two of her recent incarnations, and they both came from the DCAU, I'm not getting my hopes up. :P

Don't know if she's big enough. I liked Lynda Carter because she was a big girl and seemed a good fit.

The actress they cast need to start eating and working out, like right now. She's a straight vertical when it comes to her shape.
I know there's more to WW than just the fact that she's beautiful, but they could at least try to stick to that image.

And what's with all the superheroes being thrown into the pot? First it was World's Finest, and ok I want to see that, then there's a rumor about Nightwing, ok 3 heroes, for a sequel I guess that's not unheard of. Plus Nightwing isn't on Superman & Batman's level so he's not going to do much damage.

But now they add in Wonder Woman - who deserves her own story and movie - into this bubbling stew. Well might as well throw in Flash.

Just because some ingredients taste good on their own, doesn't mean they taste good when mixed with other ingredients - if you catch my drift.

They may as well call it
Man of Steel 2: Dawn of the Super Friends.
