No more than 2 games as host without rebooting. This is for your own good !
For all ps3 users.

PS3 players know how to avoid this by now.. but that doesn't mean this is by any means predictable. The point of this thread is to point out how awful this is to those who haven't seen it.. not to prepare PS3 players who have had to deal with this for a year already.

It's outrageous really..

This has happened to me several times. The first time it happened everyone left and eventually I got a message telling me I was kicked from the game.

So...according to climbs someone got sync'd multiple times last night :D

To be fair, those syncs were really cheap and didn't adhere to the normal game mechanics. One was a phantom and like...I don't even know what happened and I watched it happen.

Although it's nice when the system gradually seizes up, I also enjoy the pleasures of the occational insta-freeze. Last one was on the first game after starting the system on Giant/Rippaz...., no hazard, Collectors, Vanguards or BE spam-fest.
I am apparently a bit on the slow side, since I after restarting the PS as a result of a freeze/meltdown/whatever instantly load ME3 and search for another U/U/G quickmatch.

Whenever I do UUP it seems to end up as Ghost Hazard Collectors with alarming frequency, which means I more or less need to hand in the controller as soon as it starts raining.

And this is exactly what I do, because apparently I never learn.

Hence why I rarely play plat and never collectors.. I always get nervous when seeing U/U/G just in case we end up in Condor with Collectors -_-

Pisses me off whenever it happens. It bothers me even more that it will probably never be fixed. NEVER have I experienced a single memory leak back when I was playing ME3 MP on the Xbox 360.

If it weren't for PS3's awesome community, I probably would have given up by now.

I've got ME3 running at 150 FPS. Jelly?

I'm pretty sure at 150 FPS you start losing frames.

I still remember the first game we played together. I think you were N7 double digits rocking a Destroyer with a Krysae or something. Half way into the game I realized you had played this befoe ...

I meant to ask the same thing... Must be a Smooth or recording specific thing because I've never seen it... PPR on the other hand....often never stop firing.

Had this happen to me tonight. My friend (who was hosting) was complaining about extreme lag at 1 FPS. The spawns were taking forever to show and nothing was actually attacking us. Took 45 minutes to finish the match.

Yes.

PS3 is not a blu-ray disc player (though it does read blu-ray discs). It is first and foremost a gaming platform. That BioWare ignored the problems with their game on this system is pretty unacceptable. I don't care if this game was made for XBOX and PC. If you're going to port a game to another console, you make sure it's not going to break the console.

Insta-freezes are also my favorite. Especially when they happen randomly. A few days ago, I froze against Silver Geth in wave 5. First and last match of the night.

I really do wonder if any of the devs not owning a Playstation and the game's lack of polish on that system are connected. Like, would the memory leak issues have gotten more attention if a dev were experiencing it? I'm not even mad, at this point. I'm just curious.
