Yes.
PS3 is not a blu-ray disc player (though it does read blu-ray discs). It is first and foremost a gaming platform. That BioWare ignored the problems with their game on this system is pretty unacceptable. I don't care if this game was made for XBOX and PC. If you're going to port a game to another console, you make sure it's not going to break the console.

This isn't the first time we are bringing this up either and its pretty pathetic to see 0% improvement in the year that they supported this game (if anything things got worse).

And I have experience all of the bugs yesterday within an hour. I do not know why we insisted on playing this game at all.

Insta-freezes are also my favorite. Especially when they happen randomly. A few days ago, I froze against Silver Geth in wave 5. First and last match of the night.
I really do wonder if any of the devs not owning a Playstation and the game's lack of polish on that system are connected. Like, would the memory leak issues have gotten more attention if a dev were experiencing it? I'm not even mad, at this point. I'm just curious.
Brojo actually have a PS3. But for the time I've had him on my FL, I've never seen him playing ME3 once. This says something.

They fixed the memory leak issue. And then immediately broke it again.

Yeah...it says he doesn't have the game for Ps3. But no, seriously, I kinda figured that'd be the case. If anyone knows which version is the most inferior, it'd be a dev.

Man...Harbinger doesn't **** around...Is it bad that the image of a Collector Captain curb-stomping your dead Ps3 made me laugh?
But yeah, it does kinda blow that the memory leak got a lot worse with Retaliation. Remember when BW mentioned that they couldn't add too much to the game for performance reasons? Maybe they were implying that PS couldn't handle it. Would certainly make sense, but it'd also imply that PS was holding new content back. I think it's pathetic, too, but still...food for thought.

Most of the time mics works fine. It's super random. I've only been in 2 lobbies that has this. Also rehost solves problem.
PSN dc isn't much of a problem anymore. I think that was around when Sony was upgrading their servers or whatever. But your host still sucks. So your dc-ing is actually a good thing.

1. Turn on PS3
2. Put on some UUG pugs.
3. Play for 3 waves against collectors on hazard giant.
4. Freeze, black screen, YLOD.
5. Rage.
it still is pretty pathetic how little support happened for the PS3. No new patches, no new balance changes that might help a little bit (I.e reduce grenade count for scions, reduce abomination spawn rate etc. etc.) no nothing.

Don't waste money on an expensive Jacuzzi-style bath. Simply make your own by placing a hairdryer in the water. Wear a wetsuit to avoid getting electrocuted.

Rage against big corporations is almost always justified. Did you have to buy a new PS3 or could you get if fixed?

It was a while ago,
but luckily the local tech store didn't rip me off on the fix price (like the old store did. Some repairs cost more than the actual product itself lol), so I got it fixed. Just took forever.

It is quite a new non HDD unit, but I don't recognise any of these issues. If it really was memory leak wouldn't you get the same problems in SP?
Looks more like lag to me.

Some people experience it frequently. Some, like yourself, claim they never see it. Who knows. I didn't start getting it until I had sunk quite a bit of time into the game. It got exponentially worse when Retaliation dropped. Platinum and Collector matches are where it usually gets unbearable, but I've been seeing the same type of lag/memory leak/whatever in my lower difficulty matches after extended play periods.
I'm beginning to think that perhaps my system has been irrevocably marred from the many corrupt file restore sessions that it's been put through because of permalag/instafreezes. I dunno, I'm no software Engineer. I can say that this **** happens religiously enough in certain conditions to the point that I'm 95% sure that the problem is not on my end. Excluding getting the most inferior version of the game possible, anyway.

Then at about 17mins it finally actually looked bad. Unplayable lag bad.
So, for the rest of it, eh not bad. Looks normaly. (I don't notice frame rates that much, I don't know how people can tell them. I do know however, that I used to mainly play on my xbox, and my pc doesn't really hit past 30ish frame rates. So maybe I'm just used to bad frame rates).
But that last bit... ouch. Painful.
