In regards to BroJo's PS3... as far as I know, it's more of a "household" PS3 that he and his roommates share. He did actually pick up ME3 for it and we played together for a few weeks. But he's primarily a PC gamer and it seems drifted back to his preferred platform. You only ever see the roommates watching Netflix on it anymore.

Proof of BroJo on PS3:

EDIT: Also, lolsilver. We did a lot of Golds, too, but a buddy wanted Silver that round.
On the topic at hand... heh, yeah. That's why I think PS3 players, especially the really good ones, are sort of the unsung bad-asses of ME3 MP. We go through a LOT of BS and still are dedicated to the game. That says something about our player base, in my opinion. Or we're all just terrible masochists. I haven't ruled out the latter yet.
This problem does seem to vary from PS3 to PS3, though. For example, there are some people my on friends list that simply can never host. Meanwhile, I almost always end up hosting by request both because I have a very strong wireless connection (boggles my mind, since hubby is usually gaming on the wireless as well, so you'd think I'd be a laggy host... but apparently not) and because my old fat 80gig apparently is a workhorse when it comes to swimming through the issues. I can usually host 4-5 Gold matches before having to reboot for safety, as long as we don't get Goddess or a hazard map in that run. The only maps I really have to hold my breath on are Goddess and Hazard Ghost. And whenever I start getting that framerate drop when hosting, I leave. So far, that has led to successful match completions for my buddies... and then they all want me to re-host again once I'm back up. LOL
