Blu-ray? Yeah, I've bought 3 PS3's. The blu-ray lasts about a year. Then, any blu-ray with a layer switch will stop working. I can't get God of War: Ascension to work at all. The first cutscene in The Last of Us crawled to a stop and locked up the system the first time I tried playing it. Mass Effect? I had to download all 3 games to the HDD because it sounds like a truck when I try to run them from the discs.

tl;dr It's not just Bioware, guys. I love my PS3 like a good fanboy, but it's clearly the inferior platform.

That is brutal! xbox is definitely not as bad. I bought the pc version for 10$ at some point to ascend and see the difference, but my pc can't handle it lolnoobpc

See post where I said that few companies coded their games right.

Also it depends on your PS3. The older ones had a lot of issues.

The newer ones, not so much, and even newer ones have none. (except for being killed slowly by most video games.)

Not sure if it would have changed anything if someone would have done so months back. People have been complaining for ages now, but BioWare never seemed to care.

That's what I thought. And who could I blame. But honestly I think we have the best community. Very quiet, tight knit and nice to each other. And I've been told that our chatrooms are a nice thing that don't exist on other platforms. So many fantastics players are in the chatrooms that makes platinum looks a walk in the park.

I know that there are chatrooms like Legion on PC. They are also wonderful. But thr level of craziness of OUR chatroom exceeds all. It's more fun than actually playing the game.

WN are you referring to Alliance Hazard?? It's a pleasent place to engage and find like minded players. A bit quiet these days though

Even though the AHF chatrooms have slowed down (weekends it's better), some of the matches I've played with some of the better players have been amazing -- 20 min. (non-speedrun) plat games!

I've made videos, posted links, written a blog and even sent links of those videos showing memory leaks and other bugs to ex-MP staff since the Collectors made their debut.

No response, ever.

While I've certainly had other games freeze on me, Mass Effect 3 has frozen my console more times than any of my other 20+ games combined in the last 5 years of owning a PS3. The fact that this little detail somehow slipped by BioWare is completey inexcusable.

Despite the fact that the PS4 is going to have drastically different architecture, I can't in good conscious ever purchase a BioWare game again, not after this botched attempt at a "game."
